The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a 5min walk to the medieval city. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also good. We stayed with our 5 year old and we all really enjoyed it.

Wonderful hotel

We did not stay in the hotel we booked we got there and were told it was closed for renovations. The one we stayed close to the castle. So

Hotel was lovely! Breakfast was less than ideal and not great selection for kids and the price but location was fantastic.

So close to the medieval city & downtown area! Staff super friendly!

Really enjoyed our stay & mainly down to the young male receptionist, who looked after us on our arrival. Apologies but can not remember his name, but he went above/beyond in making a great 1st impression

The property was ok, I arrived at the hotel to find it closed. No notice of this from the hotel. I call the hotel, and am informed I have been "upgraded" to a different hotel, Montmercy. This hotel was older and the facilties were interesting to say the least. Wifi was horrible, about 6 inches between the front of the toilet and the sink. I would not have chosen this hotel

When we arrived at this hotel we were told that our reservation had been changed to another hotel further up the town. We had booked a large room with a double and a twin for extra space and comfort. When we arrived at the 2nd hotel we were sent to an annexe across the road from the main part of the hotel. Here we found that the room was a standard double. When I rang reception I was told that this was an upgrade. I informed her that we had booked a large double originally. She was then miraculously able to find such a room quite close to the original room she put us in. We had been traveling since 9 p.m. the previous evening without sleep so this was not the check in we expected

Really good location for exploring Carcassonne. Staff were lovely and the hotel is quiet and very comfortable.

Modern hotel Steps away from castle. The outside swimming pool is lovely. Very good air conditioning. We are family of three with teenager and the room was very small. We stayed for one night only on our way to south.

Great location and the hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Other bonus was having a swimming pool!

The staff were friendly and the room was immaculately clean. Aside from breakfast there was no real food service, but there are lots of restaurants in both the old and new towns - although be aware that out of season these generally close around 10pm.

When we arrived at the hotel they said they had no record of our reservation through Expedia though my credit card had been charged for the room. I don't know if this was an Expedia problem or the hotel gave our room to someone else. The woman at the desk tried very hard to get to the bottom of this but we had to go to a different and much more expensive hotel.

A fabulous hotel which is clean and well furnished and has friendly professional staff. Great to have the swimming pool
