I spent 4 nights n this hotel in a room for the disabled even though I am not handicapped. The location of this hotel provides you with easy access to the main tourist attractions like the Fontana Pretoria and it's just a 15-minute walk to the bus and train terminal (if not carrying a luggage). The main entrance is not on Via Maqueda, so you have to pass through a small pathway with some stinky rubbish bins to get to the hotel. Well, it's quite common to see rubbish bins poorly handled in Palermo. There are some bars and pubs in a nearby street but the discos are far away. The room was quite dim and run-down. There are always disturbing sounds from the pipeline, from the other room or from the corridors. I could hardly sleep in the morning. Maybe I usually stay in the room in the morning, no cleaning service was provided on the first 2 days. The hotel staff, no matter the morning shift or evening shift were very helpful d tried their best to accommodate my need. If the hotel can possibly be renovated in future, I still think that it's a bargaining choice.

The wifi is weak signal in the room..should go out side of room can used. not really convenience for me. room is clean amd nice.

La habitación estaba bien, la única pega fue que estábamos a 40 grados y no funcionaba bien la máquina de aire acondicionado. Otra cosa a mencionar es que llegamos con una niña de 2 años y nos alojaron en una habitación en el tercer piso sin ascensor.

Room was perfect, clean and comfortable beds. I didn’t go to breakfast so no comment on it. Would stay again

It is a 2-star hotel and that is what you get. The personel is very friendly and helpful. The room has a/c and that was the most important feature for our stay there in july. If I were to return to Palermo I wouldnt mind staying there again.

Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gemacht leider die Handtücher nicht jeden Tag getauscht Frühstücksbuffet hält sich sehr in Grenzen Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend wenn man mit einem Auto anreist hat man Probleme einen Parkplatz zu finden man kann auch nicht ein und ausladen vorm Hotel aber es liegt sehr gut in wenigen Gehminuten ist man direkt im Zentrum und bei diversen Geschäften

-Perfect location. Very central, lots of good restaurants and night life near by, and public transport (train station, buses) are in walking distance. -Simple and functional room which is just what I needed; somewhere to lay my head after days of exploring, to take a shower and have a good breakfast in the morning. Bed was comfy and air con worked well. The shower was small but really good water pressure and hot water. -Always warmly greeted by staff and they allowed me to store my luggage for the day I went home as I had a late flight. - Fantastic price. -I would advise bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me as it can be a little noisy due to being centrally located near restaurants etc open til late , other guests coming in late. -There didn't appear to be an elevator, stairs only. Something to consider if you struggle with stairs.

Excellent location. Television does not display local stations as it is not connected to an Ariel which essentially renders it useless. WiFi is not reliable and weak, so I would say that the hotel has no WiFi. The bathroom was not very clean but the bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. No lift. Apart from the hotels excellent location I struggle to find anything else good to recommend.

Great location and great price. No lift (that I saw) so would caution anyone with mobility issues.

Lovely hotel in excellent location 12/15 min walk from train station. Central to Palermo centre. Italian continental breakfast, clean, traditional Italian. No lifts. Would definately stay there again. Excellent value

Room was clean and tidy on arrival. Air conditioning had a remote to operate it, but it didn't want to work on the last day. Breakfast was decent but no eggs. Desk staff very professional. The biggest concern was a shower. The size of it allows comfortably fit only a child. The caulking around the base with black mold and smells like mold. Location of the hotel compensated for the above mentioned issues.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, and is near lots of restaurants. My room was fine for one night, smallish, with a single bed, and clean. The AC functioned well, but the TV had no English language channels. I missed out on breakfast as I had to leave early to make my flight. So I would recommend the Columbia for travelers to Palermo.

The room was spacoious and clan the staff always ready to attend to our needs The breakfast was great, specially the cakes and pies Centrally located too

We were welcomed on arrival and staff were friendly. Breakfast was continental buffet and adequate for our needs. Served 7.30-10 and on our second morning whilst nearly finishing our breakfast at 10 to 10 staff pointed to the sign which made us feel we shouldn’t be there. The room was adequate, two twin beds, air conditioning and bathroom. The bathroom was sort of clean but the shower cubicle tiles and sealant was mouldy. The plastic water cup was filthy and obviously not been checked or cleaned in a while. There was a small high window that you had to stand on to open. Overall the hotel which was adequate for sleeping, it’s location was quiet and close to tourist areas and felt really safe.

Checkin flexivel. Carmelo muito prestativo e simpatico.

Perfekt beliggenhed. Tæt på alt, men i fred og ro. Morgenmad ok, men ikke voldsomt sund… Mest kager og søde sager.

Huone ja tilat olivat mielestäni puhtaat, mutta kuluneet. Huomionarvoista on, että hotellissa ei ole hissiä! Aamiaispöydässä tarjotutut tuotteet olivat hyviä. Pöytäliinan päällä oli suojamuovi. Hotellin eteen ei saa taksia. Lähtiessä se tuli kuitenkin lähelle. Hotelli on keskustan sykkeessä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.
