Nice place ,comfortable room

Very friendly staff, who could recommend places of interest to you.

酒店很舒适也很暖和，除了房间有点小之外，其它一切都很好。虽然小但设置非常完善。酒店离市中心大概走路10分钟的样子，走6分钟左右能看到一个便利店。个人觉得很不错，一个人住很合适

Staff frendly and welcoming, room and reception very clean, a small walk into York car parking extra although we stayed on a Sunday and it was free parking on the side street, a very pleasant stay would definitely recommend.

Room was beautifully decorated, clean and nice touch with toiletries. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location to walk up into York and having its own bar is a great bonus.

Not our 1st visit, but our 2nd and it was a truly wonderful stay. The rooms we had are stunning with four poster beds and gorgeous unique styles. The staff here are really lovely and a credit to Laura xx The breakfast is 5 stars and they use only the best produce. Something to really look forward to is meeting Teddy, the resident star- he's their lovely cat and is so friendly. This stunning Boutique hotel is situated in the centre of York, only a few hundred metres away from the wall and a ten minute walk to the shambles. If you are looking for a truly lovely stay, look no further xx oh and they scored 10s right across the board when featured on Four in a Bed in 2025 xx we will definitely return xx

Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely building and rooms and bathrooms spotless. Tea, coffee and chocolate drinks available in room . Some snack bars also available free in room. Plus large bottle of water.

The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is beautiful, clean and has wonderful decor. Its in a great location. The biscuits and hot chocolate were a lovely touch. Very comfortable bed too.

The staff are amazing, especially Georgia who helped us get settled the first night. The hotel is so beautiful and the room was amazing. Highly recommended staying here, only 10 minutes from the centre. Perfect place to stay in York

The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful

Clean spacious room with good amenities and the individual designs are a great change from standard hotels where all rooms are the same. Staff were all great from check in and out, to breakfast and the mini tour on arrival was a nice touch ie being shown to room etc. We were also able to check in early which was a big help asxwe could go out for rest of day without breaking off to check in. Offer of fresh milk for drinks in the room is also a welcome gesture. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice for the cooked to order part. Parking is limited (we know this is common for York) but well managed and space maximised which is a bonus so near city centre. Would definitely stay again!

Firstly the staff we amazing . I cannot fault the staff one bit . Nothing is too much for them . The room was spotless and super quirky and cute . We included breakfast in our stay which was also 10/10 !!! We cannot wait for our next stay !!! Thank You Clementines 😊

Everything about this place is great 🙌 The decor is sublime, the staff extremely friendly and approachable, and Teddy is the highlight of it all!

When we went in to our room, the Chocolate Orange, we noticed it was colder than the hallway. Nicky, the receptionist, showed us around the room, as told us to turn up the radiators. But that didn't work. So after 15mins, I went to the reception and asked if there were any other rooms available. Nicky showed us 2, and we decided on the Matchmaker. This room was excellent, very warm and spacious. colder than the hallway.

Excellent room and staff are really nice

The staff were absolutely amazing. Really good customer service. The room was clean with an eclectic style that made it a fun and unique stay. Highly recommended.
