Clean and friendly

Hotel was ok, staff very inflexible. Breakfast service poor.

Friendly staff, lovely property. Ate in the restaurant every night, excellent food and service.

Really lovely hotel. Perfect in every way

Hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were all very attentive and polite. Only down side was there was functions on 2 days while we were there and the music was loud and travelled to our room. We weren't warned about this pervious even though reception said we should of got an email about it. It did turn off at midnight but did keep us awake. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice and staff were very helpful. Would book again but would check for functions before booking.

Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. The bath protector was way too short and so it was very hard to keep all the water contained in. Shower heads themselves were very dirty. With the room, it was incredibly dusty. A lot of grime across a lot of the corners of the rooms. The fan was a small plastic fan, and was incredibly loud. Also, with one of the rooms we booked, there was no hot water. There was no mini fridge. Breakfast options were very limited and unfortunately not the best tasting. Given after all this, the stay itself was fine, however definitely not worth the stars or reviews I’ve seen I’m afraid.

Everything was as good as always. The room, the grounds, the food, the staff, were superb. Looking forward to returning

Room was great, staff friendly and helpful, and food was good, I will definitely go back.

Spectacular from the start the hotel looks amazing from the driveway- reception staff were amazing- our honey moon suite perhaps the best room we have stayed in , in the Uk - called Spring. The bar tenders were great with cocktails and some LP the evening meal was great value and tasty - no noise from the wedding- fabulous sleep. Lovely breakfast- walk down to the abbey ruins in the morning- can’t fault it - just needs a spa😂

Excellent staff team, clean smart hotel, quality food, breakfast lunch and dinner, not too expensive, hotel request was made and a nice upgrade offered on arrival. Clean and tidy bathroom, Would stay again.
