Great service from staff, beautiful location, amazing rooms.

Beautiful views! A little remote but if you don’t mind being away from it all then this is the place to be. Our room and the resort was also beautiful.

I like the mountain and river view right from the comfort of my bed int he room.

Really needs some exterior maintenance. There was stucco missing from the building directly in our view the railings and flashing were rusty and dirty we had a wrap around balcony that for some reason had a fence panel in the middle of it that also needed to be painted but should just be Removed the pool was apparently removed a year ago so no real ammenities to use. The in room coffee area has been updated at some point and the decision to remove a sink in the counter was poor, there is still plumbing in the cabinet but in order to get a glass of water or to fill your coffee maker you have to use the jacuzzi tub faucet or walk up into the bathroom and use the bathroom sink and neither option are overly hygienic or appealing. Over all we enjoyed our stay but a few small details kept it from being the romantic getaway for our twentieth anniversary that we were expecting. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant were truly outstanding by far the most expensive meals we've ever had. We tried to book a couples massage weeks in advance but were told they didn't have the staff scheduled to accommodate even though it is on the website and I told them it was a surprise for my wife on our 20th. As I said overall it was an enjoyable weekend. But we would not do it again

Beautiful location above the Saanich Inlet, incredible views from room and restaurant, amazing food. Includes spa facilities. A romantic, luxurious getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very helpful. Our supper and breakfast at Alpina restaurant were excellent.

Beautiful and tranquil spot. Too bad they don't have a pool and tennis courts anymore. These amenities would make this place a true resort.

Excellent service. The staff is super helpful. The scenes around the hotel are spectacular. Rooms are very spacious and have really amazing views. Very close to Malahat Skywalk attraction and Spectacle lake. Super exceptional hotel. Thanks for everything

Great stay! Amazing views and a beautiful room!!

Had a good stay here for 3 days and 2 nights! Staff are awesome! They are very helpful specially the lady at the front desk who helped us on all our requests! The only problem that I have encounter was they said that housekeeping is by request so we requested it the 2nd day before we left and visit downtown, they said yes at the front desk but when we came back, our room wasn't even touch or cleaned, we expected if as we requested it. Alpina Restaurant is a must try! We had a good lunch and the staff are very helpful too! 🙂

This is an old hotel, badly in need of renovation, changing carpets, curtains . The small gallery outside window, full of debris Pls don’t stay here, choose a branded hotel

Gorgeous spot. We lucked out on a deal for the master suite and having an oversized jacuzzi in your room overlooking the mountains and valley- like a dream. The resort on site dining was superb and the grounds beautifully landscaped and maintained. We didn’t have time to try everything there but would come back for sure
