The hotel is average, nothing more. Room felt small, bathroom hot and steamy with little space to hang towels, wet clothing and no balcony space. Whilst it met our basic needs after 3 days I grew fed up with the lack of space and dim lighting. You could hear some noise early mornings which woke us prematurely a few times. Breakfast was chaotic. The dining staff went above and beyond to help but they need new facilities; both coffee machines broke twice, the fresh orange machine once, the cereal dispenser required the staff to adjust it’s broken handle three times in one morning to work. The dining space cannot cater to the amount of diners at 9am. It was mayhem & quite frankly survival. To top it off for 3 days one life was out of service resulting in us using the fire exit. Passable but not ideal or a holiday experience.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. The room was clean, very friendly & helpful staff, the buffet was excellent & great location. Great place to stay!

Breakfast was nice, staff was nice but the facilities are very run down and the amenities are tiny or non existent. It is not worth the price.

Hotel is beautiful. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Rooms are clean. The food selections could be better. Sometimes the food was cold at the buffet. The pool is very small and the pool chairs are old without cushion or support. The view from the pool is very limited ocean view there’s a big building blocking the main view

Nice hotel, good location! Rooms were okay. Restaurants were really good and staff super friendly!

It was located in a very good area and was extremely close to the beach. I liked the area and how clean it was. Staff was always extremely helpful and patient and useful. The breakfast was good and had a great variety.

Jeg bodde på Arena Ipanema Hotel i ni dager, og totalt sett var det et veldig hyggelig opphold. Det aller beste er beliggenheten,bare en kort spasertur fra Ipanema-stranden, noe som gjør det veldig enkelt å ta turen til stranden hver dag. Hotellet tilbyr også strandhåndklær, som er en veldig praktisk og gjennomtenkt detalj. Takterrassen er også et stort høydepunkt. Det er et perfekt sted å slappe av, med flott utsikt og en fin atmosfære både på morgenen og kvelden. Det som virkelig gjorde oppholdet spesielt, var de ansatte. Alle var utrolig vennlige, hjelpsomme og serviceinnstilte gjennom hele oppholdet. De strakk seg alltid litt ekstra for å hjelpe, noe som utgjorde en stor forskjell. Frokosten var veldig god, med et bra utvalg, og rommene var rene og komfortable. Alt i alt et flott hotell med utmerket service, og jeg ville definitivt vurdert å bo der igjen.

A localização privilegiada, porém instalações precisam melhorar, sobretudo cama e travesseiros, o que tornaria esse quesito do conforto bem melhor. No mais, dentro da média.

Great stay in the best location will come back

Good city hotel for a short stay with a convenient location to Ipanema. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was decent. That said, lower floor felt less comfortable with windows facing street/ sidewalk, and the rooftop area is quite small, with pool that is more for dipping than swimming. Overall, it felt overpriced for what it offers, unless you value the lobby design.

Lit double fait avec un lit 1 place mis en transversal. Inédit. Personnel totalement inefficace lorsqu’il a été informé de l’incident, on vous renvoie vers le manager qui n’arrive que le lendemain. Passez la nuit dans ces conditions sous optimales et ça ira …. Entrée dans la chambre alors que le signal ne pas déranger était mis. Pas pro du toit, à part le manager

More amenities in room needed and friendlier staff at reception and at the doors. The security guys have a face like no politeness, i know its a guard but needs to be polite to guests
