Lovely hotel with great facilities. We were only staying one night but wished we were staying longer.

The hotel is wonderful, excellent food. Spa is brilliant. Staff are helpful and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to visit near by. We are staying again in December.

Lovely hotel with great service, food and rooms

Room was decorated for our 20th anniversary the staff were amazing the food / steak was 10/10 from the kitchen and the waiters service amazing we couldn’t of asked for a better day we will be booking to go back very soon thank you the property is also incredible

Lovely breakfast in a pleasant environment with a friendly chef and waitresses. My room was very clean and airy. The only downside it was above the bar so I could hear the music. The hotel has a lovely aroma as you enter and the ambience enhanced with a beautiful floral display. Sunday lunch at the Blok dining room was delicious. I have enjoyed staying here twice and would not hesitate to return or recommend

Was in the middle of a housing estate, Not what we expected

The property was a calm, inviting base with fantastic spa facilities and mouth watering menus, even on my first night when the restaurant wasn’t open but ate in the comfortable bar area. My bedroom was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you would need in a bedroom/ensuite.

Great hotel. The food was amazing!

We stayed at Lanelay Hall for two nights. Everything was excellent from the accommodation (lovely room) to the food in the GLOK restaurant to the staff - particularly the staff who were so friendly and helpful. We would fully recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overpriced and undervalued. I had expected more for the price. The pool/sauna room were disappointing. The bedroom was above average but nothing exceptional, and the evening meal was less than perfect. For £300 for both room and evening meal, I’d normally be disappointed. The staff were exceptionally good, front desk at check-in, the waiting staff, and the restaurant manager. Nonetheless I’d never stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff.

Absoulety gorgeous hotel, food, service was incredible and staff were so welcoming warm and professional. Other than the spa lady this morning around half 10 I wasn’t sure of her name, however myself and my husband were having a swim before we checked out at 11 and the spa was empty and we were laughing and told to keep the noise down in quite a rude manner. I found it inappropriate as no one else was using the facilities and pool or spa at the time and we were the only ones there I appreciate keeping the noise to a minimal level for others to relax and we were very curtious and conscious of this. It was rather patronising and rose to end the experience. However the spa lady prior the day before and in the morning up until 10.30 was very warm and welcoming offering beverages and going above and beyond to ensure a satisfactory stay! Thanks so much we’ll be coming again

Great location, great value ,excellent breakfast choice all cooked to order,grewt chef early morning with excellent female waiting staffing in the breakfast room

Oh my word what a gem we have found, this hotel blew our socks off,even thing about it was just perfect, from the opulence of the colours and materials of the furnishings to the reminders of what the hotel was as used as through the years. The cleanliness of everything was outstanding, we cannot wait to return everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place to stay with an outstanding restaurant and bar. Everyone was so friendly and nice. They are all very concerned about food allergies!

Superb venue with amazing staff

We stayed at this hotel recently and couldn't really fault it. The rooms are clean, modern and stocked with essentials such as tea, coffee, water and biscuits. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel itself is lovely. The only downside is that the spa closes to guests at 10:00, after which point I am guessing you must make a paid booking. This was rather disappointing as I had hoped to utilise the spa after breakfast but was unable to do so before going home. Still a lovely place nevertheless, and for what it is worth, the spa looked lovely!
