Breakfast is nice

Parking is an issue at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Food at the function I attended was very good considering the numbers involved. Some training of the serving staff might help. One of them knocked my drink over, said "Sorry" and that was that. Drinks were very pricey.

Room ok staff excellent breakfast good but bathrooms could do with upgrading taps not in great shape and mouldy silicone around. Bath

Only downside for me was no parking facility. There is a long stay car park near the theatre. A charge of £5 during daytime and free overnight. But you have to update daily at 08.00 hours. This is about 1 10 minute walk from the hotel. Ours was a family get together and suited us being in the centre of town. Would stay there again staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you Team

Great staff and quick having the key for a very clean room . Left large with a walk in. Disability shower room . On the ground floor courtyard. Nice restaurant and bar . In the middle of Brecon

Entire place is very tried. Staff were young and joking around a lot. They found it very funny they gave a new customer the key for a room that a customer was already staying in, and they walked in on him changing! The menu sounded great but what arrived was very standard. I’d give it a miss!

Great location, good breakfast selection and clean room.

Nice room but unfortunately very poor parking. They were digging up Brecon high street which made it a bit inconvenient, but it was planned maintenance so just one of those things.

Clean rooms, close to everything

The general cleanliness and condition of this hotel was poor. The floor of the room was sloping and was quite dissorientating when walking into the bathroom. In the bathroom, the shower curtain was stained and looked unclean. The wastebin looked very poor with a rusted lid. Bathroom floor not very clean and the grouting was missing from the corners of the bath. The paint was peeling of the inside of the windowsill. In the room, the kettle was grubby and had to be washed before use, the glasses also had greasy prints on them and also had to be washed before use. The headboard was marked (small tears). The towels and bed linen were clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Certainly not worth the money we paid, and as it is, we cannot recommend staying here. On a plus, the staff were very polite and accommodating.

It is very pet friendly. The staff are welcoming and nothing is to difficult. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

The room was clean but bathroom and the room itself looked tired and needed a bit of decorative attention. The veggie breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The staff were polite and friendly.

Yes the room was clean and the staff very courteous. Room was at the top of the house and the stairs (for me) were difficult. My new knee aside we did ask for a double room but had to settle for twin beds. As I had already booked a room for April we did try to make some amendments but it seems like we will have to wait and see. Food was good though.

Cancelled room told not to turn up was told a refund would be processed and was not done! Took literally 30+ calls to even get an answer from the hotel. No help from hotel to arrange alternative accommodation. Would really recommend choosing somewhere else!!!!! Disgusting way to run a business!

Room was clean & comfortable

Great place to stay with dogs! Lovely walking areas within the location. Clean bedding and towels.

The radiator wasn't working,but the manager sorted that. The room was of good standard for the price. Breakfast was to order plus cereals etc. And under a tenner! I've had some terrible buffet breakfasts in hotels before. The only downside was I parked the car too far away in a public car park as there is no on site parking. I later found out there was a nearer car park, but mine was only about 10 minutes away. I expected more noise from outside at night, but wasn't disturbed.I always travel with an eye mask and earplugs just in case.
