Elegant and beautiful property. Staff is outstanding.

Positives are the gym, best hotel I’ve used in ages. Totally comprehensive range of different equipment. Big rooms, nice kitchen in them. Negatives, staff can be a bit hit and miss, some care some don’t. Not enough beds around pool. Beach area is a bit rougher than other areas on the island. I did have a good time overall.

The view, food and hospitality was superb.

Excellent location, friendly staff, very clean!

I went in June and the ocean water is dark brown and you can't swim in it. If i had known i wouldn't have stayed here. I think its an issue year round everywhere in the south of the island. I would check before going tbh. The hotel itself is nice, my room was excellent and new. The beds are too soft and the pillows were horrible. The gym is big and nice. The restaurant's food is good. I would skip the one next door, Deia. Its a little too kid friendly. Parents just let there kids scream and act crazy in the pool, so i never went in it or chilled near it. Its not the type of place i would stay if traveling solo.

Property was clean and beautiful

Very nice hotel right on the beach. Had everything needed for a great stay right no site. Pool, restraunt, swim up bar, spa, etc. Staff was great, room was clean. Would stay again!

An absolute gem - beach had some seaweed but that’s normal at this time of the year. Room had a little mini pool to dip toes. Calabash restaurant was great and everything was oh so easy and smooth.

My second time staying here and go to spot on the south.

Service was great. Property was clean and the drinks were excellent!

Not enough food options for quick and go. Coffee shop with pastries. I cream cart for afternoon treats.

My husband and I had a great experience with our stay at the lovely Bougainvillea! The staff decorated the room for my husband's birthday and a gift on the first day! The staff was friendly and helpful with booking tours and getting us transportation. The food at the restaurants were pricey but convenience comes at a cost! The beach was not swimmable to me with the harsh waves and the extensive amount of seaggrum or seaweed... Not sure what it is called.... However, that did not take away from the pristine views and beautiful scenic atmosphere. Next time I come, I'm bringing my kids! I feel like it's not only a safe place for them to come visit, but also I know they will have a good time! The bed was comfortable and the housekeepers kept the rooms clean and tidy! I will miss this place.... We had a great experience!

While I liked that it wasn't a huge complex, the pools were small. At 7:45 am all of the chairs by the pool had been claimed (towels on them) yet nobody was actually at the pool. Also, to replenish the towels they wanted me to walk a considerable distance to some building on the other side of the restaurant. I am considered handicapped and although I can walk, I asked at the front desk for a new towel. The lady basically huffed & puffed and told me she'll see if she has one. Funny, she did have one and then instructed me to put my used towel in a very large trash bin which already had towels in it so I clearly wasn't the only person asking at the front desk for a towel. The hispanic lady who was the hostess at the restaurant was very friendly. I ended up leaving my beach chairs that I had purchased but didn't want to transport home, for her.

Excellent resort! We loved our time there!

We stayed in Bougainvillea in our recent vacation to Barbados. Our stay was great. The hotel is at the beach, with the pool, a bar and a couple of restaurants on premises. It’s clean, spacious, and all the staff were very accommodating, friendly and amazing. We also liked that the hotel is not on the main road as it does get busy at times. We also didn’t have any issues walking back at night.
