We ordered an ocean view and could not see the ocean from our room. The WiFi was unusable from our room and our bedding was damp. We had to run the water for 30 mins to get hot water. The hotel layout is weird, we had to walk 20 mins to get to some of the restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t get any reservations for the first two nights, so we barely got to try any of the a la carte restaurants. The ones we did try, the food was mediocre. Service was a hit or miss, we had to wait 40 mins to place our order for one of the restaurants. The beach was filled with boats so the view wasn’t very scenic. The pools were nice though.

It’s an excellent resort, my family spent Thanksgiving there, we are hundred percent satisfied with Lopesan!

The resort looks good however the customer service is not there as expected from someone traveling into the facilit expecting the service we are paying for.

The resort is beautiful but the dining needs work. The food does not seem crash and I got very ill. The bottled water is also questionable. I give it a 3 out 5 stars.

This was our second and last vacation at Lopesan. For families traveling with kids, there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The hotel and the property are beautiful, and the infrastructure is amazing — but that’s where the positives end. The beach is full of seaweed and looks like it’s not being cleaned at all. The music at the pool area is too loud, and there are many boats on the beach playing the same loud music. There’s no quiet place to relax. The pool towels were dirty and smelly. It seems like they don’t wash them properly — just dry and fold them. The food is below average, with the same limited selection at the buffets every day. The restaurants are just okay. The service is the worst we’ve ever experienced. There are no waiters on the beach or at the pool area — you might see one once a day. The staff is very difficult to communicate with and barely speak any English. We had to speak to at least four people before we could get our morning coffee. The biggest disappointment was the cleaning service. It seems like they only make the bed and change the towels. The floor wasn’t mopped for three days, there was small trash everywhere, and hair remained on the surfaces. I had to ask the cleaning lady personally to mop the floor - she still didn’t do it. Then I left a note in Spanish and they finally clean it. I should mention that we tipped them well every day. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you don’t want to be disappointed on your vacation.

The room view was appropriate and the Spa service was excellent. The facilities , grounds , pool are and beach were always in top shape. We really enjoyed our stay , this is our second visit to the property looking forward to number 3.

Overall beautiful property . First impression was not impressed with the quality of service as we were provided a room that was not cleaned prior to us checking in. This provided a dissatisfying first impression as a guest .Odor of mildew within the hotel and hotel room was off putting. Expected a better experience

This property is amazing. Amazing staff. Specially Hansel Piantini from the Italian Restaurant Gondola. He went above and beyond to meet our needs in avery way possible. I HIGHLY recommend this all inclusive resort. We celebrated our son 2nd birthday and we had a blast. Kids area outstanding Amazing food, amazing entertainment, amazing everything. Our family has no complaints at all. Keep up the good work Lopesan. Definitely coming back.

While the rooms and showers were absolutely top-notch—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed—the dining experience left much to be desired. We found ourselves eating the same food every day, and unfortunately, it was consistently cold. The drinks were also watered down, which added to our frustration. For a resort of this caliber, we expected better variety and quality in the food and beverage offerings. That said, the resort itself is stunning and has great potential. With improvements to the dining experience, it could truly be a five-star destination.
