Nice reception and staff, super small room and bad soundproof

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. But the room was not kept in the best good condition, cleaning could be improved, and basement levels are not well insulated for cold weather.

The location was central and easy to get to - a key requirement for a short stay. Nice cafe room though. Breakfast was not included in our rate but coffee and tea were available. Comfortable seating area. The front desk staff at both check in and out were great. No problem leaving and retrieving baggage. Directtions. Whatever. Set expectations appropriately. It's a budget hotel in Amsterdam. The room will be small and the stairs will be steep. The stairs down to our room were a bit treacherous - more like something you'd see in a submarine than a hotel but again, not really a surprise. Beyond that though, the room was snug but clean and comfortable. No complaints for a short stay. Good bathroom and shower. Overall a good value for basic accommodations in a fantastic location.

The room and washroom was super clean! They have an elevator which is super nice! The room was a little small but otherwise a very clean and enjoyable stay

Fantastisk service i receptionen God beliggenhed Morgenmaden havde et lidt mindre udbud men kvaliteten var høj, maden lækker og lynhurtig service. Værelserne super hyggelige, rene og nyrenoverede. Tak for et dejligt ophold - vi kigger forbi igen..;o)

Top Hotel, super Lage, alles war perfekt, bis auf die Größe des Bettes. Es war 120x200 und das als Doppelbett. Beim Buchen steht nur französisches Doppelbett, jedoch haben wir nicht geahnt dass ein französisches Doppelbett 120x200 ist. Sonst fanden wir alles super. Konnten uns immer Kaffee holen, obwohl wir Frühstück nicht mit gebucht hatten. Bis auf die Größe vom Bett fanden wir alles super!

Clean and comfortable room

Chambre propre et pas trop petite. Bonne localisation. C’est un hôtel plutôt simple mais avec un bon rapport qualité prix pour Amsterdam. Adresse au calme mais proche de tout.

The hotel is very close to the museums. On our last day, Hassan was very helpful in getting breakfast for us. We were very comfortable there.

Great location and perfect for someone on their own

From the moment I walked into the hotel, what stood out was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. The gentleman who checked me in, was so helpful. He wouldn’t allow me to bring down my bags and did it for me, which really made my entire trip. This hotel is in the middle of everything, close to public transport. I really enjoyed my stay. 20/10

This was a great disappointment. There was no hot water in a cold and rainy weather. We were not even advise that there was an issue with the heater. Imagine yourself looking forward to have a warm shower and you stuck in the shower with very cold water. When we try to complain the front desk person just brushed us off and mentioned to just complain on-line and it's not his job to take any complain and he said that he's only job is to check out customer. Unbelievable! person with rude attitude in the front desk.
