My July 2026 stay at Maple Resort was disappointing despite a few positives. The room itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and featured an excellent mattress that made for a great night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. The resort continues to advertise an on-site restaurant that has been permanently closed for years, which was misleading. Reception was difficult to locate due to poor signage, and the mile-long dirt access road was in poor condition and made my back sore. Friendly but unsupervised dogs also wandered throughout the property. Most concerning, the resort failed to address loud, intoxicated day-pass guests who overcrowded the jacuzzi, vaped openly, and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for families with young children. I reported these concerns to staff without action being taken. I would not recommend or return to Maple Resort until my concerns are meaningfully addressed.

My husband and I loved Maple resort, we were looking for a relaxing getaway and we found it. The staff were amazing, very helpful and kind. The room is beautiful and give romantic vibes. The pool area is very well maintained and clean, we swam for hours. We can’t wait to go back.

This property is better suited for guests who plan to stay on-site for their entire trip rather than coming and going. Driving at night was very unsettling. The roads are in poor condition, there is very little lighting to guide you, and the area feels extremely dark, which made us feel unsafe. One of the biggest disappointments was that there is no food available on-site and very little staff present. In my opinion, that does not meet the expectations of a resort. Leaving the property at night to find something to eat is not a practical or comfortable option, so I highly recommend stopping to purchase enough food, snacks, and drinks before arriving to last for the duration of your stay. The views are absolutely beautiful during the day and the scenery is peaceful. At night, however, the property lacks adequate lighting, which makes getting around more difficult. There are also several dogs on the property. They were intimidating at first, but after spending some time there, we realized they were harmless and simply live around the property. Overall, while the daytime views are stunning, I would not consider this property a resort based on the lack of amenities, food service, staffing, and overall guest convenience.

En realidad lo unico que utilizamos fue la habitación, nada del resto de la propiedad, pero si puedo decir que el área de la alberca está agradable y la temperatura del agua lista para nadar.

Absolutely incredible experience. I most definitely will say we will be back. Super helpful and responsive at all times. My only suggestion would be shorter door code combination haha but honestly the place is incredibly beautiful place in nature with nothing but animals and bright stars.

The property and the rooms are great. Many areas to relax. Drive to the resort is a bit rough. The restaurant on site is closed and there really isn’t any nearby restaurants. Would definitely go back but take some snacks.

El establecimiento muy bonito el jacuzzi y alber alberca en buenas condiciones la habitación muy limpia y bonita lo único malo es que estaba en remodelación el restaurant fortuna y no pudimos hacer uso de el ni de la rueda de la fortuna

Desde que llegamos la atención fue excelente, el lugar está hermoso para tomar fotos, para comer, relajarse en familia, tienen fogata, los cuartos 10/10. Definitivamente volveremos !

La propiedad es apta para mascotas. Todo muy limpio. La alberca padrisimas. El personal muy atento. Les falta variedad de comida pero en general la comida bien.

Sent 2 emails prior to arriving that were never responded to, wasn't informed the restaurant was closed until 12pm day of check in. Terrible customer service.

My experience at this resort was very disappointing. The property is practically empty; there were only 1 or 2 staff members and, from what we could see, no other guests. From the beginning, we were given incorrect information. We were told that breakfast started at 8:30 a.m., but when we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed that it did not start until 10:00 a.m. After waiting for an hour, the employee named Angel finally informed us that there was actually no chef available and that breakfast would not be served. We were made to waste our time without receiving clear information from the start, which demonstrates a lack of organization and professionalism. Additionally, the jacuzzi is very poor. The water is not hot at all; it is barely lukewarm, which is completely disappointing for a resort that advertises this amenity. The main restaurant was closed, and we were not informed of this until after we received our reservation confirmation email. This type of information should be clearly communicated before a guest finalizes their booking, as it is an essential service within a resort. During our stay, there was also no room service or housekeeping provided. At other resorts, housekeeping typically stops by at least to make the beds or tidy the room, but in this case, no service was provided at all. The experience fell far below what was promised and did not meet the minimum standards expected of a resort. I would not return and would not recommend this property.
