On arrival at the Hamilton was greeted by five other guests who also found their key codes wouldn't let you in to the property! After calling the number provided on the email we all received we were able to ascertain the code for the door wasn't the same as the one for our rooms, as this wasn't clear on our 1st emails!! This information wasn't given to me until a later email... The room was however clean ish but found the bed was of poor standard, with also to be found the toilet roll holder to be hanging off the wall... When leaving the Hamilton was shocked to find a plastic bag of which I believe contained excrement to the side of the back wheel of my vehicle and was disgusted with this... I feel basically I shall never use the hotel again it's safe to say!!!

Room 12, Single Room, Private Room, No Hot Water for Shower, parts of floorboard in bathroom missing and bottom panel of shower detached from shower tray. Carpet in Bedroom dirty and bitty. Bed mattress lopsided, bed uncomfortable. I understand it was cheap but you expect it to be clean and have basic functions.

Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. We immediately left the building and luckily were able to book accommodation at Lincoln City Centre Travelodge. We were not surprised when we met another couple we had seen at the Hamilton, in the Travelodge reception, who had like us, sought to stay elsewhere upon seeing the Hamilton. Expedia should refund our wasted payment for the awful Hamilton booking, and pay us compensation for the cost of staying at the Travelodge.

Did not use the kitchen. Room was clean. Some cracks in the plaster on the walls. Venetian blinds difficult to close and open.

The place is NOT a hotel it is a council doss house full of drug addicts and down and outs we arrived just after another couple and neither of us could get in with code we had someone came and let us in the room was disgusting a women was? walking around in her filthy pyjamas you could smell drugs being smoked we took one look and went and booked in to travel Lodge only to meet the other coupke doing the same thing and we have tried to get a refund witch seems impossible dont believe the pictures on advert that looks like they were taken when it was a hotel ! It is one big con and the place should be closed down

Easy to park and comfortable. Battled to get hot water in the shower.

Booked this very last minute as we were booked to stay in the Tennyson round the corner but their front door failed and we could not get access to the property. Stayed here before so knew it would clean and comfortable and safe to come back to after an event in the city and we would not be locked out of the building

Everything was perfectly clean but the room was boiling hot with the radiator on so we went and turned it off so it slightly cooled down. The blinds didnt close though so if someone went to the bins they would've been able to see into our room which put us off. Altogether it wasn't bad for the price but the blinds needs fixing and the radiators need turning off on a hot day which could be done easily by members off staff when cleaning the room

Easy instructions for self check in/entering the building. secure location with individual door codes for each room aswell as on the main entrance. it is a non-staffed hotel with outsourced cleaners coming to the building. Perfect for business stays or hassle free solo-travelling. I stayed in one of the private bathroom single rooms, but there is a communal bathroom for the cheaper option. Extremely well priced for the standard and location. Bedding was so soft and cosy warm! Would absolutely stay again for business

Now drills but excellent value. Nice area. Room has everything including towels, TV, comfy bed. Access to a kitchen is great, with seating area. Pots, cutlery and crockery all available with microwaves and stoves. Could do with a few more cooking utensils- luckily I travel with a good knife, board and basics as there are no knives, scissors, cutting boards, strainers, etc. But I will certainly make this my go-to when back in Lincoln

Says it's a b and b but no breakfast items No fridge in kitchen Only 6 small pots of milk nothing in fridge have to go do a load of stairs to kitchen No lounge think the sign outside needs changing and lounge taken off the description Also why put from city centre was told its a 10 minute walk yes took us 26 minutes not happy only 1 hot chocolate provided I will be sending the bill from all the stuff we have bought for a refund and for the room

Room very nice and cleaned every day. The only reason I didn't giive an excellent review is that the the code given for the wifi was for a virgin system which had been replaced by vodafone so we were unable to access the wifi

The mattress in Room 12 was very tired, the blinds did not keep the light out and I could not reach the light switch from the bed. Place was spotlessly clean and tidy
