Location: It takes around 5 minutes to Rue Saint-Jean and Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. It is quiet all the time. Room: Although the room is small, it is clean (just there was a rice at the sink at the first day). Considered that it is a budget hotel, it is seldom to provide a fridge in each room. Dryer is provided as well. I requested for a room with a better view and my request was fulfilled. Service: House keeping is good. Réception is nice , just he/ she only works from 12noon to 8pm. Therefore, if you arrive at the hotel earlier than 12noon, you might not be able to store your luggage before check-in. (Room key-card is required to enter the hotel before 12noon and after 8pm.) Facilities: Cooking area is great and simple ingredients (like eggs, bread and fruit) are provided (free of charge). View at the rooftop is great too and you can have marshmallow bbq during 6-11pm. Washing machine is provided but there is no dryer.

The workers are super kind and helpful. Although the room is smaller than expected, and you have to manually rise and drop the bed, I like this hotel very much. The location is excellent because it is quiet and near the center of the old town at the same time. One thing you need to notice is that the kitchen is small, and you will have to make breakfast by yourself, so you will want to go earlier in case it is too crowded.

The room very very small. It overlooks stairs. Mattress thin and not comfortable. It was not worth the 182$ plus taxes daily we paid per night. The location was convenient.

The property is well located. Public transportation can be used to access the location. Property provides breakfast items to cook your breakfast in the morning . A novel experience fir me.

I loved my stay at Hotel Atypiq! The room was perfect for two, and the bed mechanism was easy & efficient. The location was excellent - everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance from the hotel! And the staff were very friendly and ready to make conversation (we even asked for marshmallows to roast on the rooftop fireplace & it was a wonderful experience)!

the great location in the old quebec town, make most of the attractions in the walking distance, good kitchen facility to use for breakfast and snack time. the room is clean but about the most small in my experience, don't bring big luggage with you!

My daughter and I loved our stay here! The communal kitchen was perfect! We were happy to make our own food at our convenience and appreciated the food and amenities provided. Our room was adorable. Took us a minute to figure out the furniture but had a great laugh in the process. It’s a wonderful place for a single traveler or two people very comfortable with each other. The staff were very friendly. The rooftop area is beautiful to relax on a nice day. I’d definitely stay here again. thank you!

This was a perfect place for a single traveller who wants a place to sleep and wash up. It’s not intended as a destination itself; it’s walking distance to everything you’d want to see in Quebec City, and it’s clean and quiet. The staff were friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Second time at the hotel, excellent location, great beds, rooms don’t work for everyone so be prepared. Highly recommended

Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas terrible. C’est un peu cher pour le service obtenu. Il n’y a personne à la réception. Il y a une cuisine commune qui n’est pas très propre, ça ne donne pas très envie d’y rester et de manger là. La chambre est vraiment minimaliste. Sur les photos, ça paraît beaucoup plus grand. Au global, ça va pour une nuit.

I came here for a few nights to check out Québec after a work trip to Toronto. The room was compact but comfortable and was fine for me travelling alone - although it would have been tight for two. The shared kitchen offered good self catering options for breakfast with a friendly atmosphere. The reception on arrival was friendly and check out was straightforward.

This is a typical hotel but quite cozy. Staff very friendly

I liked the location. But the room was very tiny and didn't realize we had to make our own breakfast. That was a different experience.

Interesting hotel in a great location for a reasonable price. Very small room but adequate. The bed is raised and can be lowered to sleep in.
