Upon arrival we were upgraded to an apartment and room was comfortable for the 2 of us.
Our room was facing east and there is a club across the road which became very noisy and music didnt stop until around 2am.

Our 2 night stay at the Avenue was wonderful. We booked this hotel and added breakfast which was tasty and had a lot of options. The rooms are spacious with great decor. The bed was so comfortable we slept both nights without waking up because the the comfy bed and zero noise outside. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and very convenient for getting around. However, the cleanliness of the breakfast area was disappointing. We arrived when breakfast service opened, yet the carpet looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed from the night before, which did not create a great first impression.
The room itself was okay comfortable enough for a short stay, but nothing particularly excited about. Overall, the excellent location was the highlight, but improvements in housekeeping and presentation of the common areas would enhance the guest experience.
The staff was amazing from checkin to when our aircon heater was not working. They were prompt in assisting in fixing the situation.

The hotel is extremely well located, but what I liked most is how friendly and helpful the staff are. It's also relatively affordable, well-maintained, and the rooms are kept spotless. As someone who lives online, I also appreciated the speedy and free internet. I visit Canberra periodically and this is now my first choice of hotel.

When we booked, the 'perk' for hotels.com members was free parking.
Luckily, we tool a screenshot of that, because when we got to the hotel, the checkin agent had no record, and attempted to tell me that no such offer exists.
With the exception of this interaction, everything else about the place was top notch.

Apartment very comfy and great location.
Breakfast is adequate and is somewhat disorganized, there don’t appear to be to be enough staff. On busy weekends it gets a bit chaotic.
I will definitely stay at the Avenue again, but will go out for breakfast or self cater.
