Very disappointed with this hotel.
TV did not work. Tablet rebooted every time placed in docking station despite being powered down. Light & fan in bathroom on auto for 5 minutes even if just walking past & not entering. Very frustrating in middle of night. Needs soundproofing. Despite being on 6th floor we could hear lots of street noise. Very disturbed night.
Bar closed at 9pm just as theatre finished.
Would not stay again.

The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner!
The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out.
Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to.

Over a weekend with many "older" delegates at a Conference nearby, only one lift worked - repair people were on site on Friday, but not Saturday or Sunday.
The delays were ridiculous and the staff attempted to explain the situation on basis that lift "could not" be fixed: I bet you it was fixed soon after when the rates were lower.
