The environment is very basic, living up to the 'Budget' in its name. It takes nearly an hour to get into the city, but public transport is convenient and the wait times are short. For this price, I can't complain—at least you have your own bathroom. Still, the whole place really reminds me of my old university dorm days. Btw, there is a Woolworths supermarket nearby.

After paying for my accommodation in full prior to my arrival, I checked in to the Ibis Budget Hotel at Sydney Olympic Park and was advised by the receptionist that my credit card details were required for any incidentals. This was untrue as the room was basic and had no additional facilities that required further payment, but I agreed to the request. I was then charged the accommodation price again for a room that was already paid for. The following morning, I questioned the decision with the receptionist and was advised this had been a mistake and there would be a refund which would take up to five days. This is fraudulent activity on behalf of the Ibis Budget Hotel as I am now out of pocket for the additional charge for an error that should never have happened and wasn't my fault. The duplicate charge was completed in ten seconds, but the reversal is still to be credited, and I am happy to outline full details to the relevant legal authorities. The room featured a noisy refrigerator, and this provided a poor night's sleep. If you would like the opportunity to be charged twice for accommodation and have a noisy room that featured a restless sleep, I would thoroughly recommend the Ibis Budget at Sydney Olympic Park.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for what we need, close to the train station and athletics field. There are cafes/restaurants close by for coffee and dinner. All within walking distance. While the rooms are basic and a little run-down, they are comfortable and were reasonably priced for when we stayed. Breakfast is simple but was suitable for our needs. We were happy with our stay for convenience and price.

The rooms are very small and the shower is virtually in the bedroom. Fine for overnight if you are going to a footy match, but wouldn't want to be there any longer.

Only issue was the single extremely flat pillow. When we asked for a second pillow staff had to take them from another room. Otherwise a decent stay for a deciding price.

So clean, so easy to get to, parking so close, great location to stay at for nearby events ☺️

Enjoyed the sky staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean. It was what I expected.

Good location. Check in and out quick and easy. Friendly staff. Comfy bed, hot shower. Small, basic room. Not really worth $242 per night. Parking tricky. No ability to pre book. Doesn’t appear hotel parking is for guests only. Both hotel and overflow parking full. Black out blinds work a treat but ear plugs needed if you want to sleep in.

Beds were really comfy and cosy in the room we stayed in . Staff were helpful and nice. The room i stayed in was clean ,had a great view & I would recommend staying there

I booked and paid for one night and car parking walked into room totally in disbelief of condition of room so left car in parking and went next door to quest hotel booked room and beautiful new room like a small flat all amenities beautiful thanks quest

It's really bad

Parking was great and on the property. Unfortunately the foyer and lift surrounds were quite grubby. The wash basin was left with someone else’s whiskers all over it which was quite off putting. I know you only pay budget prices, which in fact still cost us over $300 each night, but it’s not hard to keep the property looking presentable and clean.

Great walking access to stadium, everything you need is close by. Staff were great and super helpful. Beds were so comfortable

Basic and budget but clean. Small room but all that was needed.
