第二天房间无人整理

As usual booking through a website the hotel then gives you their worst room. I was given an adjoining room and the connecting door stopped very little noise. There were 3 guys in the room next door. They went out at 11.45pm and came back at 3.00am all with quite a bit of noise. They then talked in their room until 5.40am so little sleep was achieved. Another lousy stay at a Mercure.

Great staff

Room was good, very spacious but dated like rest of hotel. Would benefit from refurbishment. Lots of traffic noise, not helped by bathroom fan which let noise into room constantly. Bathroom door had to be closed at all time to reduce noise. Hotel lobby, bar and restaurant area were very nice but rest of hotel wasn’t. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Manny on reception was really good.

Very comfortable bed. On-site cafe and bar served good food at a reasonable price.

Carpet was split in doorway and room service did not make beds.

Scruffy, tired and outdated. Major construction works taking place.

Staff unpleasant to deal with

Fantastic check-in. Arrived 915 am and got into our room which was very unexpected but fantastic. Room good. Spacious for one room but only 1 pillow each on bed. Asked immediately for 2 more. Got them after a couple of reminders.Bathroom small but enough. Good shower head. TV only small, could be a bit bigger. Staff very helpful. Went for tennis and there was a nig screen at reception and lounge area. Pool looks much smaller than photo. Gym small but has all equipment. Not a lot of food options close. A few cafes. Close toTram so St Kilda close by and 30 mins into city. Room close to busy Queens road. Noisy when in room. Too far out from city for me but if u are happy to tram it its fine. Restaurant expensive. Lots of people getting Uber eats delivered. Staff lovely, engaging, helpful.

We had terribly noisy neighbours I had to call front desk no joy asked to speak manager she said she would sort it, never heard back loud running screaming banging continued till 11pm, woke up early noise started we went out got back late still noisy went to call again and it ceased, Got stuck in the car park each time couldn’t get out, stuck for 20mins no one at hotel answering had to leave car and go back into hotel as no one picking up at front desk, room not made up on one of the days, rooms ok but bathroom old and shabby bathtub had chips out of it and not very clean, lack of staff when you needed anything no service in a service based industry, Olivia was great she was our server in the restaurant, I won’t stay here again.

Wonderful stay staff were great

Room was poor quality with outdated bathroom that didn’t match the pictures on the advertisement. The bed was two mattresses pushed together rather than a true king size bed. The pool was out of order on a 40 degree day and the aircon stopped working for several hours and took 2 hours for someone to come and fix it from the time of reporting it. In summary I’m not sure the stay could have been any worse!
