Laborious check-in process that left me waiting at reception for a full 3 minutes while the woman tapped her keyboard. Just another example of corporates putting cost back onto the consumer. Old school shower faucets – hot tap needed 12 full turns, the cold one about 4 turns. Eventually got the right temperature then randomly it’d go lukewarm then back to hot then … random. Got given a disability room so the bathroom was almost as big as the main area. No powerpoints near bed to charge stuff etc. Air conditioning was either hot or cold or somewhere inbetween. Pretty sure it was designed in the 1800s. Even on cold it blew warm so had to have a window fully open the whole 3 days ffs. Was promised lake facing but got the opposite but was at end of 4 week trip so had no fight left in me.

Was given a room that faced a multi level parking so view was the side of a ramp going up to next level and windows let all traffic noise in will not stay here again

Two pillows for two people was below par. The pillow quality was below par.

The whole stay was perfect,apart from the fire alarm going off.Keep up to good work.

The staff were particularly lovely. We arrived much earlier before check in and asked to store our bags. The staff were more than happy to do so but also allowed us to check in as soon as our room was ready which was hours ahead of our check in time. Upon checkout, the gentleman was lovely and had a smile on his face(even though he was dealing with a difficult customer before us). Very comfortable beds too, I could have slept all day.

Emergency evacuation at around 9pm. No explanation or staff to show guests to fire escape or upon return to the building. Then next morning no hot water and we had an early departure. Offered us a breakfast when they knew we had to be out early for a previous appointment. Will not stay again.

The stay was fine until the last morning when housekeeping came in to my room at 9am while i was getting out of the shower. Didnt overly appreciate that. Not sure why they were coming in to my room before I'd checked out.

The room was very small and dismal and we were placed next to the lift, so at times it was a bit noisy too. The bathroom also wasn’t the cleanest we have been in. On a good note, the bed was very comfortable.

Lovely view. Very friendly and helpful staff while I was there. I would call this a 3 star at best. Very, very basic. The shower only offered a dribble of water. I had to move heavy furniture to access a PowerPoint near the bed.

It needs renovation because it's looking tired.

I was transferred to this hotel as the one I booked has closed down. Note that Pullman and Mercure are in 2 separate towers. The Mercure lobby is not as nice but they share facilities. The rooms are as expected, minimalist but the beds are very comfy and the staff are very nice and helpful. The bar and lobby area is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back

Challenging stay, noisy maintenance works making the room noisy starting from 7am (no sleep in possible). When we phoned down to reception and they said they didn’t know of any works … however there we jackhammers going in the car park, things blocked off. The noise was audible in the windows cafe, we ended up having to move locations to work during the day. Called multiple times to get our swimwear after checkout (same day) and no reply, no calls back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the family stay. Only negative is that the heating controller wasn’t functioning properly and the room was too hot! Otherwise an excellent stay. Some facilities could be upgraded eg bathrooms around the hotel

Clean and tidy and safe

I had such a terrible experience staying in this hotel. 1. My dad forgot the password to open the safe and we kept all our passports there. It was 2 days before we got back to our country so we were kinda panic and as the staff to help us open it.The receptionist said there would be someone sent to our room to help us that day and my dad asked for the specific time, but she just said "I don't know, but today". We were not satisfied with her answer but we could not do anything so we just went our the whole day, hoping that when we returned, it would have been unlocked. BUT NO. It remained untouched. The next day, my dad had to express his dissatisfaction and finally, they sent someone to our room. It only took them about a minute to open the safe, so why didn't they do it the day before as they promised us? 2. We paid them 250 AUD for the security deposit and spent 169 AUD for breakfast so in return, they had to give us 81 AUD back. They promised it would take 3-5 working days for the process but we wait for nearly 2 weeks. Nothing was returned. Now, it has been 8 working days and we haven't seen our money back yet. I rarely leave a bad review for any kind of hospitality service, but my experience at this hotel was truly disappointing. Overall, this stay was frustrating and far below the standard I expected. Poor communication, slow action, and unfulfilled promises left us with a very negative impression. I strongly don't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.
