The hotel is ok but not updated or maintained! For the price one is paying it’s falls very short on value. The pool outside was great and the only reason I would recommend the hotel. The lobby is shabby and not welcoming at all. The furniture in the room is old and outdated especially the carpet. The bathroom also need updating. But it is clean.

When I booked, there was a complementary breakfast, but on getting to the hotel you did not include that. I paid almost $300 dollars for that. I probably would not use Expedia anymore

The only problem was with the Blazes restaurant who fraudulently charged us for breakfast I say fraudulently as we specifically asked them when ordering was this the free breakfast covered by the hotel and they said yes. In actual fact it wasn’t and we should have gone to another restaurant on the 12th floor.

FYI, when you book this hotel with expedia (breakfast included) the hotel will still charge you gst and pst. Even though it says breakfast included, it must be some kind of joke

We had staycation and it was wonderful experience. The hotel need some upgrades and the room we stayed need some tender loving care renovation. Overall was a nice staycation. Friendly staff and nice amenities.

Booked a last minute room in a pinch. Happy to have a place to stay on such short notice. Hotel seemed clean. Downtown location helpful for attending conference, but really not much else seems to be going on in downtown Winnipeg. Room was a strange layout with sleeping area elevated from the rest of the room by a few steps with low ceilings. I am short and couldn't help but think that if you were tall you would hit your head on the ceiling where the bed was located. Window also looked directly into a brick wall...so no view and very little natural light.
