Foods amazing both at the Wild Fig and Townhall. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The 4 star on amenities is due to the hot tub being out of order and the one reason for my weekend getaways. The pool however is heated and very nice.

The facility is aging and it shows from the lobby washroom to the room . That said, I think staff did the maintenance to a degree. During weekend there is a bar and pub downstairs with live music bands until 10pm . So if you don’t like the loud music. This hotel is the only one around the boundary of east Burnaby and west Coquitlam so if you need to do some business there or for whatever reason you need to be in that area , this will be a great location. But if for holiday purposes to stay in the room, this wouldn’t be a first choice.

Aside from the abundance of kids for hokey the stay was pretty good. 1st time in Canada. Lots of places to eat nearby. Will definitely stay again.

Room was amazing and clean. They even made the beds, cleaned the bathroom and gave us fresh towels, which no hotel has done since covid. Our friends stayed in a different hotel nearby, paid quite a bit more, and it was dirty and uncomfortable. I'd stay here again!

- different plug for bath tub- the one provided constantly leaked water…was disappointed the hot tub wasn't in service either. The pool/hot tub were the biggest reason for booking…i also didnt realize it was an outdoor pool- night time it was really cold and not enjoyable without the hot tub for balance to the cold. I also would have appreciated being told we would have to pay for parking in addition to our room charge…I had originally thought breakfast was provided which I learned it wasn't when we checked in but was not given the info of the additional cost which i may have considered if I was given the price ($19 for guests). Sadly, I didnt feel the value was there for us personally.
