The room itself was excellent — comfortable bed, spotless, and I appreciated the laminate floors, which made everything feel cleaner. Staff were outstanding: friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive. The M Club Lounge was a disappointment. It felt dark and uninviting, and the food didn't deliver. Fake tasting scrambled eggs at breakfast, and the evening appetizers (doughy Thai chicken, waxy cheese) were not worth the trip. Sticking to the toast and fruit is your best bet. Honestly, I'd skip the lounge upgrade and have breakfast somewhere nearby instead. Parking was the other frustration. The garage is difficult to navigate — the two-way ramp is very narrow, and if two cars meet, one has to reverse around the full circular ramp. We also couldn't charge our EV because non-charging vehicles were occupying the charging stalls, and there didn't seem to be any enforcement of the posted rules around moving your car once charging is complete. Overall, it felt more like a well-maintained 3-star hotel than a 4-star experience. Great room and staff, but the lounge and parking situation need work.

Great property, great location, friendly staff, nice restaurant and lounge but some updating to elevators and bathrooms might be considered. I would definitely choose this location again as it was so well located to the waterfront area for scenery, shopping and dining.

Clean beautiful rooms. We got a room with a deck which was a nice perk. The M club lounge was amazing! Sadie our server in there was top notch! Had our room ready an hour earlier than check in time which was nice. Hot tub had the best strong jets! The only issue we had was that the TV didn't come with a remote. So we had to call the front desk for one. Which we waited 20 mins. No remote. Had to call again and finally 10 mins later one came. The HDMI hook up to TV never even worked anyways so it was a wasted effort all along.

This is a great, easy hotel in central Victoria. Very walkable from the ferries and downtown. Easy to get to the shuttles that will bring you to everything touristy. Fantastic staff. Pool was great for the kids.

Every thing was great

Room was clean and parking was available. Check in we were told our room wasn't ready yet and we were ten minutes early. We were told we would get a text or call when our room keys were ready. We sat in the lobby for 50 minutes and then I went back to the front desk to find no keys were ready but the room was done. The elevators didn't seem to work great people were complaining how long it took (keep in mind it was a full hotel) that did not bother me but the sensor to go up and down didn't work well and I had to help people multiple times after I figured it out myself.

The only thing left from Marriott brand are comfortable beds and clean nice linens. Room furniture is awful, bathroom amenities resemble cheap motels, rolled towels in a lobby bathrooms are gone, just paper towels. What used to be very classy bar resembles fast food restaurant. Going forward, not worth the money and I will consider other options when staying in Victoria for multi day business trip.

Clean room

Location is perfect for a day trip in Victoria - central to everything in and around the harbour. Room was clean and parking was easy to access.

I wanted to tip out the housekeeping staff. In my other hotel experiences, a post stay QR code was provided so that I could share appreciation for house staff. Pls consider implementing this.

Clean room. Very comfortable bed. We had a corner room so very nice view and beautiful windows all the way up and down the room. Staff was professional and courteous. Good location, close to walking for restaurants and tourist attractions.

Decent restaurant onsite that had a fairly good kids menu. Room was clean. Parking was easy. Would stay here again! Great location!

Excellent location with nicely appointed rooms.

A bit on the old side for the price paid. Bed very confortable, staff friendly. Had a little balcony and sofa. Wish breakfast was included. The double curtains makes it hard to close them as there are behind furnitures

Staff was not as friendly or helpfull As would have expected Had and issue with booking thru Expedia and neither hotel or Expedia Resolved Room was mediocre on was not as clean As expected from a chain such as Marriot

Excellent location, great staff, nice rooms, and the children loved the pool.

Clean rooms, secure parking, and the refreshing cucumber water in the lobby was nice. Booked a room with a tub but received a shower, thankfully they were able to re-assign the room. First night was frustrating due to noise from room above. Unfortunately I was also given a room facing the front street which was busy and noisy with construction noise starting very early in the morning. Comfy beds. But for $1100 for 2 nights I expected far more ‘wow’. Overpriced IMO compared to other similar hotels in the area, especially given the construction. Prices should reflect the lack of peace during the active development.
