No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible

Room was really quirky and decorated well. Some cob webs on lights, windows and headboard had a bit of musty smell.
Room got very warm at night, air conditioning wasn't great.
Staff were excellent though, really helpful and cheerful. Food at the restaurant was fantastic too.

The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. The staff were absolutely super though and the food was amazing. We ate in the Thai restaurant one evening which was great. Also the Oak Restaurant and again the food was super - and we had a really great breakfast each day. The whole place is fantastically unique, quirky and beautiful when all lit up at night. The farm shop 2 mins walk up the road is a must - it was fabulous and again the staff were absolutely super, friendly and very helpful. Oh and the bed and pillows were fantastically comfortable so we slept really well - just what you need when away for a country break!

Having never stayed before at the Crazy Bear I went in with high expectations, however I didn’t realise the room which was meant to be a decent level, was the size of a postage stamp, just enough room for a double bed, no spa even though it was advertised as that’s the other venue not Steadhampton. Overall less than impressed, especially for the money, probably the most expensive hotel you can stay in per square foot, which was about 12.

Was really good we were room only, very bougie for our wedding anniversary. Would of given it 5 stars but there was a delay in getting the security deposit back which was debitted and not held! Had to chase to get it credited back to our account.
