Very welcoming and clean

Comfortable room, modern bathroom, unfortunately no aircon on the hottest days of the year so far.

Nice relaxing hotel with very caring staff … whilst not the most modern rooms the stay was great.

Stayed for one night as had business in the area, the lobby, bar and restaurant are amazing. The rooms not so much, very dated decor, stains on the carpets, need a full revamp.

Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Clean room and bathroom. Lovely surroundings.

Good well priced hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and the beds are super kind size and extremely comfortable. Shower room compact but fine take your own toiletries as 3 in one soap fixed on wall and one of ours didn’t work. No charger sockets in rooms. Breakfast was very good £14.95 for full or £8.95 for continental serve yourself. I wish ours hadn’t been spoilt by the waiter cleaning the table next to us for what seemed like the whole breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Large bar downstairs

Hotel is run down and tired. My room was very poor. No hot water in the shower, damp smell and old beds pushed together.

Room was clean but basic. Quote stuffy with overstuffed pillows. Walls a bit thin as there was a lot of sound spilling in from the next room. As they were listening to the shipping forecast I am guessing this was more to do with the walls than guests partying.

I thought reception were welcoming and the facilities were nice however the room was disappointing and uncomfortable the bedroom had two singles pushed together with no proper mattress topper making a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Another bedroom next to our room had a door that slammed continuously ( no soft closer) until the early hours of the morning as there was an event on which meant some guests were In and out of there rooms which felt like all night. The noisy door disturbed our sleep all night so I left the hotel feeling exhausted which ruined our stay and the day we had planned after we left.

The room was awful, it felt dirty the carpet was all damaged and unclean, the walls were covered in dirt, the bathroom felt like I was in a hostel. Not a pleasant stay at all Breakfast was lovely and the lady working at breakfast was lovely and couldn’t do enough, Disappointed that this wasn’t included with the room charge as the cost was excessive

An easy, convenient stay between Christmas traveling.

The front entrance and bar area looks stunning, clean, tidy and modern. Our room not to much. Carpet was tatty and torn leaving the carpet gripper exposed which i caught my foot on. Bathroom was a little dated, and furniture is mismatched and some of it was plastic Superking bed was just 2 beds put together Room just didnt seem to match the look of the main area.

Had problems from start to finish

Enjoyed my stay with exception of the noise in the bar spilling over into the dining area which rather spoiled any conversation with friends and family during our evening meal.

On advert they advertise bathrooms in upstairs rooms are disability friendly but there is no lift to these rooms! Misleading! Downstairs rooms have showers over bath so NOT disability friendly. Not very well thought through!

Some things in the room look a little tired. Chipped paintwork around the table. Very basic MDF shelving and odorless cupboard space. More USB ports in sockets by bed would be good

It was pretty noisy with thin walls and the bed was very stiff. It's also difficult to get to if you are on the wrong side of the road.
