Where to start.. the desk staff did the best they could in a bad situation. 1st night restaurant open odd hour with the bar shut. There was a sign that there was ice and vending machine. The ice machine works but nothing to put ice in thankfully the guy at reception gave me a pint glass for the ice. Aircon in whole hotel not work. It cooler on balcony than inside. The balcony needs cleaned bird poo and the tablets and chairs I had to clean it. Oh the view is a McDonald's sign. Got even better at night when a bright light flashed outside all night. It reflects inside. breakfast I didn't try. TESCO yep the tesco extra over the road was required cold drinks and food. The carpets looked new the beading good standard so are the towels. The shower is slidy. When you report something wrong aka the curtains being faulty its sorted. Big things like the aircon being very loud and the flashing light and the sound from other guests. There is a digital entrance system to the rooms. This was good but means the doors bang. U can hear even the neighbours tv too. Looks like they are making changes but should of stick to one area at a time.

Handy for the train station and quiet and comfortable will definitely use this place again

Stayed during a heatwave and had two room for our group but air con wasn’t working in either room and room was hotter than hell with only a fan. Barely slept. Would not be first choice when visiting the area again

I called before I booked to check if the hotel had air conditioning and the person on the phone said yes every room has it. When I arrived I was told it has been broken for ages abd it doesnt work, I wouldnt have stayed there if I'd had known this. The room was nice enough but like a sauna it was unbearable.

The air conditioning packed up very stuffy in the room. But in fairness we didn’t let anyone know x

I stayed here on 25–26 June 2026 during the severe UK heatwave, and it was a dreadful experience. Check-in was fine; the first receptionist was polite. However, I was never told the hotel has no air conditioning. Worse, the heating was stuck on and could not be switched off, leaving the room like a sauna. I opened all windows, but barely any cool air came in. Sleep was impossible; I tossed and turned all night, drenched in sweat. The next morning, exhausted, I asked the front desk for an explanation. The receptionist on duty was shockingly rude and dismissive. He claimed I had been informed about the lack of AC, which was untrue and offered no apology or solution. Later, I found a small floor fan tucked away that I had missed at check-in. No one had told me about it. Even at full speed, it did nothing to cool the room. Desperate, I went to the bar for a cold drink and ice, only to be told the ice machine was broken. Another disappointment. I got virtually no sleep and was so drained the next day I could barely function at work. A hotel should never leave you worse off than when you arrived. I cannot recommend this property during warmer weather. Between the lack of climate control, broken amenities, and rude staff, this stay fell far below any reasonable standard. I will not be returning.

Cracking family room. Nice to have a balcony given the weather. Shower was amazing. Perfect for a stop over.

Air conditioning broken conveniently on hottest week of the year. Chef sick so no breakfast on offer. No fans in room

This was the worst night sleep I have had in years. The room doors have no mechanism to stop slamming. From very late (midnight) and then again early (4;30am) there were constant bangs and noise reverberating throughout the hotel. The temperature of the room was suffocating (it was a mild day) but the air conditioning did not work at all. The shower was very low pressure.

We had people fighting and thumping in the too above us. Was not able to get 5 minutes sleep, eventually gave up and three thirty am and got dressed. We left by 04:30 am. I would like a refund

Terrible night, we were in room 210, it is now four o’clock, but still awake as the people above us are making such a racket, thumping, shouting and fighting the entire night, we have not had one moments rest, we have to drive home for six hours today with no sleep, I would expect nothing less than a refund. There was no one to call and complain to.

Super helpful staff. Great shower. Double room with balcony was great value.

Knew hotel under previous management and mainly booked for location near railway station. Gradually making improvements including availability of breakfast (personally would have preferred better quality sausages but they were adequate invwhat is basically a budget hotel). Clean and convenient- stayed on hottest days so room was a bit too hot, but that wasn't hotels fault!

Hotel chosen for handy location for railway station. Had stayed before under different ownership. Gradually improving facilities, now has a decent breakfast available from quite early so very useful. Room was clean and tidy with everything you need and reasonably priced.

The check in was great, we met the owner and he was very helpful. Room was clean and functional. Everything worked and the shower was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

Had a really good time and rest. Staff very friendly and was lucky to be served by the owner himself, a very humble person. I will definitely go back there if I happen to be in the area.

Sadly, the Belvilla has changed ownership once again and the facility is not worth giving any consideration at all. We checked in and immediately checked out. Bathrooms full of mold, carpets smelled, restaurant was torn up. I would strongly advise others to find another option if you are staying in Crewe.

Reception staff were lovely and the check in was simple and easy. Really good price for the quality of rooms. Only issue I had was woken up a few times in the night due to people walking above. Footsteps tended to echo quite loudly. Possibly needs better soundproofing. All in all would definitely come back again if in the area

Everything was perfect

One problem was with the key code changing without notice. Luckily someone was in reception to sort it out. A fair price for the area. I would not pay more. As the hotel is undergoing renovation, there was no facilities for having breakfast or a beer. At least there is a McD's opposite. Parking was around £9 for the night.
