I highly recommend this hotel. Really enjoyed staying at the Mercure Manchester, the receptionist was friendly, very helpful with maps, the service was very satisfying, I will come here again, the location is very strategic, close to the tram and restaurants, Primark, etc.

Reasonable hotel right in the city centre within easy walking distance to everything in the centre, only downside there was no internet available in our room but we only stayed one night so didn’t really matter

Beliggenhet på Picadilly under 100meter fra Tram stasjonene der du kan reise både til Etihad stadion og Old Trafford. Døgnåpen resepsjon, døgnåpen Spar butikk veldig nær. Puber og restauranter over alt og det store kjøpesenteret Arndale mindre enn 10min gange. Picadilly togstasjon med tog til flyplassen er også 5-10 min gange unna. Frokosten på hotellet var veldig god og mye forskjellig varm mat, og noe Muesli og yoghurt men ikke noe særlig vanlig pålegg. Betjening hyggelig og hjelpsom. Anbefales!!

Internet was intermittent a would drop frequently. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are being updated. Some remodel decisions seem in conflict, like the bathroom and shower enclosure was redone but the chipped old bathtub was kept. The parking is onsite and convenient but expensive. The location is excellent. Good food options everywhere. Some old buildings to wander past. However, much is under construction or renovation like Piccadilly gardens, the city building, etc.

Good location. Very tired rooms. Only stayed 1 night but cost me £40 for parking. Asked at reception about extending parking for a few hours said would be able to do it on the parking app. What they didn’t say is if you had originally paid for one day [£20] you couldn’t just do an extra 3/4 hours do basically 28 hours cost me £40. Had I been informed of this I would have moved the car and found a cheaper alternative. Breakfast was ok staff really friendly in there. Would I stay again probably not. Been in much better hotels in Manchester for similar price
