We've stayed at the Moxy for the past few years, and we've always had a friendly service, good food options, and comfortable beds. The accessibile family room is a great size but lacks an adequate amount of plug sockets, particularly near the bed. Also, our sink was blocked and they weren't able to resolve it. It definitely needs bigger maintenance.

Check in staff friendly and efficient. Clean and comfortable room and unexpected nice gesture of free drink on arrival made for a very pleasant overnight stay.

Clean and amazing environment. Great staff. Especially Adi & Jahnvi. Very attentive helpful and friendly. Welcomed with a complimentry drink which was very tasty indeed! Also another girl (didnt get her name, sorry) with curly hair who came to fix an issue in my room. She was able to resolve my issue which was great! Really enjoyed my stay here at moxy and especially first time staying. Will definitely be using moxy for more stays in the future!

Everything amazing

Visiting the Moxy in a new country was truly an amazing experience that I will never forget. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm hospitality and stunning decor that immediately made me feel at home. Andreia and Taina went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable, always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The luxurious amenities and breathtaking views from my room only added to the overall experience. I can't wait to return to this hotel in the future and create even more unforgettable memories.

Clean room, compact but enough room for 2. Would have liked more space for clothing, no draws, only a 5 space hanging rail. Staff very chilled, friendly, maybe a little too nonchalant at times But overall would stay again as convenient for Excel and nice breakfast

Everything was great but let down by the very poor shower. Literally a dribble coming out even on full.

Day staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable clean and lovely. The evening bar manager was quite rude when we ask how long our food would be after we had waited for 40mins. When the food came it was awful overcook, some of the chips were still uncooked. Very poor quality.

The hotel was nice but the ventilation needed sorting. The rooms were so hot and the airport and road noise made it impossible to open the windows. I asked reception if the aircon could be turned on. Apparently it was set to a winter setting where only hot air is available. I also asked for a fan but they were out of stock as others had been complaining about the temperature In the rooms.

I usually love a moxy, the staff are always 10/10, and make you feel like no task is too much trouble, which makes it feel so special. However, our experience at Moxy Excel was the worst night I've ever had. Our room was 23 degrees when we arrived, so we opened the window at 6pm, however, by 11pm it had gone up to 23.5. The heating was off completely, and moxy switch off the aircon so you can't even choose to use it. This is way too hot for sleeping, ideal sleeping temp is 19 degrees. The fans they gave us weren't really fans, but instead heaters that lightly blow air. At 2am, after no sleep, I went to the reception to ask if there was anything they could do, and they then found us a proper fan. However, it didn't make much of a difference, and I got only 45 minutes of sleep the night before a big race. The room was still 23.5 degrees at 10am in the morning even with the fan on and the window open. The hottest most uncomfortable night, which really affected my race the next day. They did kindly give us a second duvet, which helped the second night as it stopped us waking each other up from tossing and turning as much. Think I will steer clear of moxy moving forward if they don't allow air con.

The facilites in the room was poor, mainly the TV. The apps on it didnt work like youtube, nor did the option to cast to the TV. The gas for the draught beer was also not working
