I had a fantastic stay. Tracey is a wonderful host, very kind, thoughtful and attentive. The place itself. Is lovely. It is immaculately clean and homely and my room was beautiful. I was very impressed and will return next time I’m in Harrogate. The breakfast is also excellent. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

So very pleased I chose Murray House.
Received an email confirmation.
On arrival morning, received a text from Tracey (very nice touch) checking I will be ok getting to Murray House, parking, etc.
On check-in, friendly and welcoming Neil showed me my room, where everything was and how it works.
In the evening, when I arrived with my bags, lovely Tracey opened the front door for me and helped with my bags to room. Tracey was so friendly and kind and her time and genuine words made my sad trip bearable.
The room was huge! Bright, clean and had everything I need and everything worked perfect. What I liked best?
Very clean, lush bed linen and towels, very comfortable bed, controllable heating, very very quiet, room had a 'happy feel'. What did I not like? Nothing !
Highly recommend. If weather, sights, food, people let you down, Murray House will not.

In fact I have been very impressed with Murray House, I must acknowledge that I had a very nice stay, it was just what I wanted. After work I t was a pleasure to come back to a sparkling clean environment with a great shower, a computer table or a dining facilty and a lovely welcoming host. I also managed to watch my favourite team in Match of the day on telly. I left happy knowing I will be back…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Murray House…. sparkling clean, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast… lovely variety of serials and fruit! Mrs Armstrong was a caring, friendly lady who made us feel really at home. Will definitely recommend a stay at Murray House.

This is a really nice affordable small hotel or guest house in a quiet residential street within easy walking distance of the town centre. While parking is on-street, spaces are easy to find and the hotel provides permits to use nearby parking free of charge. The owner is very friendly and the room was clean. The TV has internet connection, so I was able to watch YouTube videos when nothing else appealed. The en suite was small but had everything I needed, and the shower had decent strength.
