Didn’t use many amenities and didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on them. My biggest disappointment was being given a room on 7 th floor RIGHT NEXT TO THE LIFTS!, As soon as she said 7th floor, I asked for a lower one, as I was with my 13 yr old granddaughter- I wanted to be able to use the stairs whenever possible. The receptionist (tho polite) smiled happily when she told me there were no other rooms available, and something about “ the time you’ve arrived”? I think it was about 3.30-3.45? And this was before I even got to the room and discovered it was directly next to the lifts - on entering/ leaving lifts, the room door was 3 steps away. Most people will be able to understand the continuous noise of the lifts going up & down all day & night? Mainly night time, cos obviously we were out during the day. Apart from lift noise, we could hear conversations etc. Again - late night/ early mornings, very noticeable. The room itself, very small (2x single beds), was really, really hot. Windows were open all night, found a fan in cupboard/wardrobe, had it on all night, both nights - still overpoweringly hot -and this was April, NOT even hot weather. Very cramped room, would definitely not stay here again. However, must say all and staff we then encountered around reception area were very polite, courteous, and nice😁

Breakfast was good

This is one of my favorite hotels and I plan to come back again. Great location and wonderful staff, I felt safe walking in the area, and public transportation was very convenient. I really appreciated that if I didn't want to go out to eat, I could go downstairs and have a delicious casual meal in the bar or a more formal one in the restaurant. Can't recommend it enough.

Well placed hotel opposite a leafy square in Bloomsbury. Art Deco style, veryy smily and accomodating staff. Good transport links. Beds very comfotrtable. Reasonably priced for London.

Upper floor garden view rooms are the best but other rooms work too! Excellent breakfast buffet, perfect location for accessing the West End Theatre, the British Museum, local buses to EVERYWHERE in London, etc. Reasonable, fair pricing. Nearby restaurants (Italian just across the street is low priced award-winning fare). Away from the crowds and noise but walkable to Leceister Square and Euston, with tubes and buses nearby for easy access! 5th time staying there, feels like a "home neighborhood" at this point.

This is where I always stay when visiting or working in London. Near Russell Square station, a few minutes walk from the British Museum. Also close to Euston and Kings Cross stations. You can walk to Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and the theatres in the west end. Bloomsbury is a quieter area, just out of the noise and crowds. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Great value. Their rooms have multiple pricing options and discounts for longer stays, so be sure to check those options out when you book a room.

Nice centrally located hotel

Receptionist was so helpful. She happily moved us to a different room of our choice which we had stayed in previously and preferred.

Ho soggiornato per 5 notti al Tavistock Hotel, camera 734 e mi son trovata benissimo! Ho prenotato una doppia ma mi hanno sistemato in una matrimoniale con letto king size 😁 comodo anche se avrei preferito un letto meno morbido, quando si cammina tanto i letti rigidi aiutano a contrastare il mal di schiena, inoltre un lato del letto era affossato, na nessun problema ho dormito dal lato opposto. Pulizia della camera tutti i giorni con regolare aggiunta di prodotti per il caffè e/o tè. Dispenser in bagno con shampoo e bagnoschiuma, limitando il consumo di plastica degli omaggi monouso. Personale alla reception gentilissimo, carina l' idea degli ovetti di Pasqua alla reception! Posizione fantastica! Praticamente a 5-20 minuti a piedi dal British Museum, mezz'oretta da Oxford street, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Sq e National Gallery. A 5-10 min a piedi la metro di Russel Sq oppure Euston, numerosi stop di autobus, per cui muoversi è facilissimo. Se dovessi tornare a Londra lo considererei nuovamente e lo consiglierei sicuramente. Consiglierei un piccolo frigo in camera Non posso recensire né la colazione né il ristorante poiché non li ho provati

Sofia and Sarah on the reception were extremely helpful as were all staff. Room was given as an upgrade and was very pleased.

Clean room, convenient location and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.
