We had a wonderful overnight stay at Thames Head Inn with friends. Lovely room, excellent staff & fantastic food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The room, separate to and, around the back of the pub was stunning. It was warm and cosy with a controllable radiator for heat. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. No shower, but a lovely bath with a handheld shower head. Perfect place to stay before starting the Thames Path. Food was elevated pub fare, and brekkie was the standard full English.

This is a lovely pub the staff very welcoming and a warm homely atmosphere.
We had an evening meal which was nice, then an absolutely lovely breakfast.
The room itself was ok I didn't sleep too well as the mattress was rock hard and so were the pillows so I woke up with a bad back.
Also there was no shower which was very disappointing I don't like having to take a bath where hundreds of people have been

Kleine accomodatie (4 kamers) net om de hoek van de bijbehorende pub met goed eten in een oude herberg uit het jaar 1750. Dit zie je terug in de stijl maar doet niets af aan het comfort. Kleine kamers, maar goed voor een korte overnachting. Ontbijt is gewoon in de pub en er wordt persoonlijk aan je gevraagd wat de wensen zijn.

The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to be helpful. The Inn had a lovely cosy feel and a menu to match. We met friends there and we were all similarly impressed. The beds were extremely comfortable too!

The breakfast is outstanding on very hot plates, good selection and fabulous coffee. The rooms are warm small and cosy and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant bar area very welcoming food is excellent. Staff are very warm and friendly nothing to much trouble
