I travel extensively throughout the UK staying at hotels and guest houses. This is one of the best, can’t believe the price!
Very friendly staff, exceptional breakfast choice - really good!
Can’t fault the place, large room, very clean, comfortable bed, secure parking and fantastic location.
Will return definitely for business and pleasure. Cant recommend the hotel enough

Lady in reception was lovely and as it was a quiet time of the month she kindly gave me an upgrade. The room was spacious and warm. Nice little bar and a great space for dining and breakfast.
I dined in at the hotel and the guiness pie and mash was great, although could've done with a small amount of veg.
No problem with parking, lots of space. If staying in the area, I would stay here again.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite the furniture needs a paint and the shower needs cleaning and new celet around the bottom of the shower. Looked brown we had a bath instead.

Hotel is clean although looking a bit tired in places.
Rooms are clean and spacious but duvets definitely need renewing as very thin and not big enough for the beds.
Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from and large portions, even a takeaway option if you didn't want to eat in the restaurant.
Overall a good stay, just the bedding issue spoilt it slightly as it was very cold when we stayed.

Breakfast was good, The staff were all very polite and friendly. The room was adequate. My main issues were with attention to detail, the stairway and carpets were dusty, the room carpet and blankets were stained. The lift was shabby.

All great - nice comfortable room, lovely bathroom (with lashings of piping hot water (that seems to be missing in lots of hotels), good parking, superb breakfast, sensible price and, above all, really friendly welcome. What's not to like?
