Hilton Helsinki Strand

Great service attitude. It is a classic design hotel. The room is very spacious. The overall experience exceeds expectation. It is close to railway station. The only demerit is that breakfast is too salty.

整體不錯，早餐及服務也沒什麼挑剔的。離機場巴士615號只有幾百米距離，不需要到中央車站轉火車或巴士，方便又省時間。酒店門外有自行車及電動租賃，又有不繁忙的單車路，可嘗試赫爾辛基的悠閒踏單車體驗。

Cannot understand how the registation staff at the counter could tell me "to my face" that I have "no show" for my stay in their hotel despite I have deliberately marked late arrival at my booking!

位置优越，离中央火车站步行10多分钟。环境很棒，8楼的泳池和桑拿，都给好评。早餐丰富可口，点赞！

Spacious room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and the signature pineapple cocktail is also good.Wonderful hotel, its location is nice either.

it is excellent hotel, I think it worth the price. the rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is very good to me, some Chinese food available. very good location as well. highly recommended.

Surkeasta aamiaisesta veloitettiin 20e, huone epäsiisti, hotelli ei mitenkään kilpailukykyinen ”naapureihin” nähden. Jatkossa muualle.

The environment is relaxed. Dinner has a limited menu and it is a bit of a walk to other restaurants. But i really a nice place.

Det var veldig harde senger, både hovedseng og oppredd sovesofa, så alle fire sov dårlig. Skulle vært overmadrasser. Hotellet og rommene var ganske slitte. Særlig området med basseng og badstue var skuffende- vannet og bassengrommet var veldig kaldt, det var ikke en ordentlig garderobe, og det var bare en av to dusjer som fungerte. På den positive siden var de fleste ansatte veldig trivelige og hjelpsomme, det var rent og fint der, og frokosten var veldig god :-)

Rooms were great. The sauna and pool were a nice touch. Location was good for exploring Helsinki.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Helsinki Strand. The dining and bar area are beautiful yet comfortable. Our was spacious and offered a view of the water. The hotel is located within walking distance to the main square. Would absolutely stay there again.

Obviously once up on a time very glamorous place. The location is superb. The funitures needs some updating and room needs proper darkening curtains. Breakfast is just mediocre. So basic. For so much less rate pernight other hotels in helsinki offer so much better breakfast. Better to grab breakfast from the near by cafés instead. The pool was cold and so small. Saunas are so tiny may be 3-4 person fits at a time not to mention its open only from 17-22. The most disapointing thing of all was the loud construction noise from outside that starts at 7 in the morning.

Hotel was nicely located with a short 8 to 10 min walk into the main areas with shops bars and restaurants. Equally close to the main square where you can find the markets and boat rours etc. Hotel was lovely and clean and all staff were very helpful and friendly. My only two criticisms are that there was alot of construction work going in the harbour / marina directly in front of the hotel. This no reflection on the hotel but it was noisy from 8am - no doubt once finished it will look great! Finally the pool is alot smaller than i expected and its a little dated and tired looking. Needs a bit of a revamp and could have done with being turned up a degree or two too. Otherwise its a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a lovely location

Three small beefs: 1) The pumps for shampoo, shower gel, etc, are not reachable if you’re having a bath. Stupid oversight that should be fixed. 2) Our bathroom was smelly when we checked in but the cleaners are not equipped with air freshener of any sort— which is weird. We ended up spraying Downy anti-wrinkle spray for clothes around the bathroom and that worked OK but who doesn’t have air freshener?? 3) You can’t really adjust the temperature much— only by 2 degrees each way which isn’t much. The fridge is also not very cold— slightly cooler than room temperature.

Disappointing experience overall. The room was small and lacked even basic amenities such as a hairdryer. The pool was cold, the Wi-Fi worked poorly, and the hotel generally felt old and outdated. Given the price, I expected much more. It was definitely not worth the cost.
