This hotel is located near to bus, tram and train station so it is very convenient to travel around the city. The room is superb and got a surprise with the room I get. It was awesome with the sea view. The only thing is I stayed 2 nights here but the breakfast is the same. But the food was nice also. So 2 nights is still acceptable for the same food. Other than that it was a great trip.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Helsinki Strand. The dining and bar area are beautiful yet comfortable. Our was spacious and offered a view of the water. The hotel is located within walking distance to the main square. Would absolutely stay there again.

Hotel was nicely located with a short 8 to 10 min walk into the main areas with shops bars and restaurants. Equally close to the main square where you can find the markets and boat rours etc. Hotel was lovely and clean and all staff were very helpful and friendly. My only two criticisms are that there was alot of construction work going in the harbour / marina directly in front of the hotel. This no reflection on the hotel but it was noisy from 8am - no doubt once finished it will look great! Finally the pool is alot smaller than i expected and its a little dated and tired looking. Needs a bit of a revamp and could have done with being turned up a degree or two too. Otherwise its a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a lovely location

Three small beefs: 1) The pumps for shampoo, shower gel, etc, are not reachable if you’re having a bath. Stupid oversight that should be fixed. 2) Our bathroom was smelly when we checked in but the cleaners are not equipped with air freshener of any sort— which is weird. We ended up spraying Downy anti-wrinkle spray for clothes around the bathroom and that worked OK but who doesn’t have air freshener?? 3) You can’t really adjust the temperature much— only by 2 degrees each way which isn’t much. The fridge is also not very cold— slightly cooler than room temperature.

Location of hotel was decent, short walk from tourist attractions. Room did not come with hotel slippers which had to be requested for. Room was also quite small with a lack of hangers. Problem with the room was the air conditioning which could not be adjusted properly as we were told that it was centrally controlled (only allowed for +-1 degrees changes). In winter when we visited, this resulted in the room being extremely cold. We requested for help on this at the front desk but there was not much that could be done.
