Attalos Hotel is an amazing little place located in a great location in Athens. The hotel is older, but the bathrooms have been updated and there are two elevators! All of the staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful, spoke English, and offered suggestions of tours, etc. The hotel is located on a busy street and is within a very short walking distance to Monastaraki Square, the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, and multiple other interesting places to visit. There are numerous restaurants in the surrounding areas that make excellent food! My room had a nice balcony with a view of the Acropolis. The street is pretty noisy, and you will still hear some city sounds with the sliding doors closed, however it didn’t prevent me from sleeping! I will definitely stay at the Attalos when returning to Athens!

De ansatte var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Rommene var enkle, men ok størrelse. Kjøleskap på rommet var et stort pluss for oss. Litt dårlig lydisolert, så støy fra gangen og trapp hørtes godt.
Frokosten var god. Vi fikk også en veldig bra frokost takeaway den dagen vi reiste.

Located in a very convenient area. The room was large and spacious and clean overall. It was great to have a balcony that did not face the street, and in fact had a view of the Acropolis! Hotel staff were very friendly. I had forgotten an adapter and they lent me one for my stay. We also inquired if they had a luggage scale (we bought too much) and they had one for us to use! The only thing that we didn't like was the hair dryer! It was one of those that required holding down to power on, making it difficult for those of us with longer hair to style. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

From check in to check out no complaints. Room as promised with kettle, tea and coffee. Lady came every day to clean and on day one helped me connect to Wi Fi. Well not me personally. Breakfast great choice and again ladies kept buffet well stocked and the place clean. I loved the music vibe in the room. At times wanted to get up and groove but didn't know if that would be allowed. Visited Roof Top Bar and enjoyed my ice cream and coffee.
Hotel situated 5 minutes from Metro Monastraki Square, from airport and where HOHO buses stop. Many cafes and restaurants to choose from. Thankyou folks for helping me to celebrate my birthday on the 29th March..

Located very centrally, very close to monastariki metro station. Staff were great, let us check in a good few hours early one time and then let us store luggage free the day after. Great rooftop bar with amazing views and reasonable prices. Stayed there twice now and would probably stay here again.

A great tourist hotel in an outstanding location around 200m from the metro at Monastiraki Square and an easy walk to all sites including the Acropolis, and Athenian Agora etc. The Hotel is clean and staff were all great especially the guys on reception. Rooms are a good size with a fridge and tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was a simple buffet, nice food well presented and plenty of it. The roof top bar is outstanding with good value drinks and a stunning view of the Acropolis, Chris the barman was friendly and knowledgable.
