Great first room - delux sea view. Lovely antique furniture so felt very luxurious (not in a modern way)

Utrolig kult historisk museums hotel, både hotellet og alt inventar er historiske ting fra India, mens badene er topmoderne og flotte. og de som driver det er både veldig trivelige, hjelpsomme og kunnskapsrike. Vi er veldig glade for at vi valgte Ginger House for vårt opphold i Fort Cochi.

Checkin efficient and friendly. Room was big and bed comfortable. However for the price we paid not to have hot water available to shower was unacceptable. We stayed 2 nights and hot water was not always available. We had to speak with reception each time who managed to sort things for later each time. The room we had 109 was on the road side and very noisy at night and in the morning so avoid any road side rooms.

Great Stay, do think they need to Europeanise some of their breakfast items, Love curry but Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner gets a bit too spicy for me. Friendly staff, great Massage organised by hotel. Pool area could do with bit of TLC and more sun loungers. The room was superb and comfortable big bed. They have the potential to really ramp this up, so not being critical just constructive.

You already know how I feel about our terrible Visit. Worst hotel experience of our lives. And I have stayed in some fleabag joints. Your worst downfall is your very inexperienced and inconsiderate front desk staff. Almost to a person, they had no people skills, experience or class.
With the exception of one young driver, who was nice enough to shuttle us to another hotel. Thank God, for Him. It’s pretty bad, when You don’t even want to stay for only one damm night - even when You have already paid in full for it !! My lovely Wife was appalled at the whole situation - and I can usually talk her into some of the most different, interesting and unusual accommodations . . . .
Your so called ‘off-site’ suite and distant location was a travesty. I feel sorry for who gets suckered into that junk joint again. Your not a hotel, your a Museum and a Restaurant; at best. In respect to Cheong Fatt Tze - get out of the hotel business.

Quel endroit exceptionnel ! Probablement unique au monde, un hôtel musée avec d’immenses salles emplies d’antiquités, (ne pas rater la très longue et unique pirogue ancienne) les yeux vont de surprise en surprise ! Les chambres sont meublées avec des meubles anciens magnifiques, un vrai dépaysement ! Nous avions réservé la suite royale, immense et au goût indien ancien d’une beauté incroyable, rien que le lit est toute une légende ! un régal de se réveiller dans ce cadre.
Un gros merci à Martin et George, les compères toujours de bonne humeur, pour la chaleur de leur accueil et au propriétaire Manuj, collectionneur hors pair au goût raffiné qui n’hésitera pas à expliquer ses trouvailles ! Tout le personnel est très agréable. Le restaurant et le jardin ont aussi un cadre exceptionnel, un lieu à ne pas rater à Kochi !
