Drop Inn Osaka

I love working & kitchen space, it was so nice, there were a lot of people there, and also a great view. The breakfast was free, which were toast, coffee, juice, and tea. There were many shower rooms and toilets. The room that I stayed in was so Japanese style. Walking from the subway was quite far, but it was near Osaka station. The staff was so lovely, his English was so well.

I had a wonderful stay at Drop Inn Osaka! This is my first time to stay in a dormitory room and it surely has raised the bar high. I arrived at the hostel around 11PM. The password for the main door is provided beforehand via E-mail. Inform them if arriving later that 10PM since reception is already closed by then. There is a separate door for the female dormitory too. Equipped with electronic lock. The details are provided in the pouch in the front desk when I arrived. Restrooms and showers are sparkling clean! Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided so I just bring my clothes when I need to shower. Towels are free and provided everyday. You just have to get them in the 3rd floor, in the lounge area/breakfast area. Breakfast is simple with coffee, tea, juice, toast, butter and jam. Area is also close to Fukushima Station (10 min walk) and Osaka JR station (15 min walk - where you can ride to other areas like Nara, Osaka, etc.). I really love staying here and will definitely come back!

Kamar cukup luas dan unik, menggunakan tatami sebagai lantai. Sayangnya kamar mandi untuk shower tidak ada di setiap lantai jadi harus turun dulu ke lantai 3 untuk mandi.

Staf yang ramah, bersih, tetapi karena musim libur, area umum terlalu ramai.

the room is so comfortable and everything is so good, toilets are so good and clean.the shower rooms are so many and it keeps sound!!! good excellent!!

ที่พักสะอาดมาก คุ้มค่ามากครับ ตรงข้ามมีเซเว่น ข้างๆมีร้านราเม็งด้วย อยู่ใกล้ๆกับสถานีรถไฟโอซาก้า ถ้ามาจากสนามบิน นั่งลีมูซีนบัสมาลง New Hankyu hotel (Osaka station) แล้วเดินมาได้ประมาณ 1 กม. ครับ ถ้ามาหลัง 5 ทุ่ม ควรแจ้งทางที่พักไว้ก่อนเพราะตอนเข้าที่พักต้องกดรหัสผ่านประตู หลัง 5 ทุ่มจะไม่มีคนอยู่ที่เคาท์เตอร์ โดยทางที่พักจะเตรียมกุญแจไว้ที่ชั้นล่างให้แล้วด้วยครับ

ใครว่าที่พักแบบแคปซูล หรือมีห้องน้ำรวมคือไม่ดี นี่เถียงขาดใจ ที่พักดีอบอุ่นมาก เตียงดูดสุดๆ ห้องน้ำรวมแต่มีห้องอาบน้ำแยก แบบเยอะและพอเพียงแน่นอน ไม่เคยไปแล้วต้องต่อคิวเลย ค่อนข้างใกล้สถานี ป้ายรถเมล์นี่อยู่ข้างหน้าเลย มีร้านอาหารใกล้ๆเยอะ ตรงข้ามเป็นเซเว่นด้วย สะดวกไปอีก

Hostelnya bersih dan stafnya ramah banget. Dekat banget dengan 2 stasiun jadi gampang kemana-mana. Overall, very recommended!

Saya solo traveler, tinggal 1 malam, saya menginap disini untuk mendekati Osaka station karena saya naik kereta jam 6 pagi keesokan harinya. Karena saya tiba sebelum waktu check in saya titip koper di reception. Stasiun terdekat dari hostel ini adalah Fukushima sta. (JR loopline-1 sta dari Osaka sta) tapi dekatnya pun perlu 10 menit jalan kaki, masih dekat sih tapi kalau bawa koper lumayan berasa juga. Daerah sekitar bagus, daerah perkantoran jadi terasa aman. Dekat Fukushima sta ada Yoshinoya dan Mos burger, 711 dan Family mart juga sangat dekat dengan hostel. Bed, shower, toilet, common room sangat bersih dan nyaman. Disediakan simple breakfast (roti, kopi atau teh) setelah itu kita perlu cuci sendiri peralatan makan yang dipakai. Selain jarak dari station, yang lainnya saya senang menginap di hostel ini

Clean bathroom, cheap price, spacey room, nice staff. 10 minutes walk from station.

สะดวก สะอาด หาง่าย ใกล้สถานีรถไฟ มีร้านอาหาร ร้านสะดวกซื้อใกล้ๆ

Saya menginap disini awal Desember 2018. Hostel berada di antara stasiun osaka dan fukushima. Anda bisa jalan kaki dari 2 stasiun ini, walaupun tentu fukushima lebih dekat dibandingkan osaka station. Saat disini saya memesan kamar 2 futon. Kamarnya bersih. Fasilitas di kamar yang disediakan sendal dan handuk. handuk disediakan hanya 1 kali. Jika mau mengganti anda dapat membayar lagi. Saya lupa harganya tetapi tidak mahal. Sikat gigi tidak disediakan. Jika mau anda bisa membelinya seharga 50 yen. Jadi saya sarankan untuk membawa sikat gigi sendiri. Lagi pula sikat gigi dari hotel memang tidak enak kan. Selain karena lokasi yang strategis dan kebersihannya, fasilitas yang paling saya suka dari hostel ini adalah lantai 3. Lantai 3 dikhususkan untuk lounge. Disini ada dining room, pantry, kamar mandi, WC, vending manchine, coin washing machine, anda bisa mandi, sambil mencuci baju, Lalu dilanjutkan dengan makan malam sambil menunggu cucian anda kering. Atau sekedar bercengkrama dengan teman atau penghuni hostel lainnya sambil merencanakan perjalanan keesokan harinya. Disini bisa juga beli mie instan jika anda tiba-tiba lapar dan lupa beli makanan. Atau jika anda kebanyakan membeli makanan, anda bisa menyimpan makanan di kulkas. Tentu sebelumnya dikasih labal nama dulu biar tidak diambil orang lain. Lounge ini buka 24 jam. Tetapi biasanya ramai di atas jam 9 malam. Saat para penghuni hotel baru pulang dari jalan-jalan di sekitar osaka. Secara keseluruhan, jika saya ada kesempatan untuk kembali ke osaka, saya pasti akan menginap disini kembali.

Good staff. Good place. Hostel near Jr Fukushima Station. Can walk to Osaka Station (10 min)

Free room upgrade, good beds, good location, friendly staff all made it a pleasant stay. Will be back.

I haven't stayed at that many hostels, but Drop Inn set the bar high with its spacious capsule beds, awesome amenities, and cozy living room. It was also very clean and tidy. Would totally recommend for a great value of price. Location was a bit far from the nearest station (or I'm just too lazy), but right across it was 7-11 that has the baggage delivery service.
