As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Effective from 1st July 2016, the Kedah State Government imposed a mandatory Tourism Fee per occupied room per night for all hotel accommodation (maximum RM9.00 per room per night). This fee may change without prior notice. This fee will be collected by hotel upon guest arrival. Hotel will collect RM 100 of deposit upon arrival from guest. Amount of deposit is subject to changes.

Kami datang ke hotel ini sudah malam dan dilayani oleh resepsionis dengan baik, Terus karena ada trouble dikamar kami sebelumnya jadi kami diupgrade ke kamar yang lebih bagus. Tempat makan juga ada dekat hotel bisa jalan kaki dan hotelnya pas di kotanya. Sarapan paginya juga lumayan banyak dan enak.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was reasonably good and the spread was quite wide. The rooms we booked were comfortable and we did not have any complaints. We stayed for three nights and when we were out the rooms were made up and clean when we returned to the hotel. The receptionists like EJA were people who took time to help us with our requests for a cab and I salute these forgotten people who go out of their way to help the hotel guests. Thank you very much to the people at Hotel Bahagia. Gopallan and family

Hotel lumayan buat nginep bawa anak, hanya aja debu masih ada harusnya dibersihkan sehingga bersih dari debu, makanan lumayan banyak macam namun untuk rasa biasa aja, dekat dengan minimarket dan kemana-mana dekat.

The room was OK except there's ants under the bed divan. The house keeping should do overall cleaning, not just do the bed. The food was OK for one-night stay but if you stay longer, the variety of dishes are boring and no many choices.
