Summer Tree Hotel Penang住宿政策及一般資訊
As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.
Document Policy
Upon check-in, you are required to bring Boarding Pass. Please bring the required documents in hard copy.
Deposit Policy
Deposit 0 is required upon check-in. The accommodation accepts cash and debit card.

Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation.
Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Effective from 1 June 2014, Penang Local Government Fee imposed on all hotel guests in Penang and the rates vary according to the type of hotel the guest is staying in. RM3.00 will be charged per room per night for 4-star and 5-star hotels and RM2.00 will be charged per room per night for 3-star hotels and below. This amount is to be collected by the Hotel, on behalf of the RMDC upon check-out. *Local Council Tax will be exempted from July 1 to December 31, 2020.*

You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with credit card / cash to cover the incidentals and deposits.
All special request such as additional car park, early, check-in, late check-out etc, are strongly subject to availability. You are advised to liaise with owner directly at least 24 hours before arrival for special arrangement.
Hotel may charge you additional fee for each extra person after reserves room’s maximum occupancy.
Extra bed and baby cot is not available in this hotel.
