I had a wonderful stay at the Solana Spa Hotel in Malta. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a team that truly stands out for its professionalism, organization, and efficiency.
What made the experience special was how genuinely warm and attentive the staff were. Despite the language barrier, they made every effort to understand our needs and ensure we felt comfortable at all times. Their ability to adapt and respond with such precision and care was impressive.
I would especially like to thank Kamil, Ijaz, and Kis, who were exceptional throughout our stay. They were always punctual, attentive, and incredibly kind. Their dedication and positive attitude made a real difference and turned a simple stay into a memorable experience.
One point worth mentioning is that the bus stop located in front of the hotel was not available during our stay due to roadworks. As a result, we had to rely on Bolt to get around the island, even though we had originally planned to use public transport. This is, of course, not the hotel’s fault, but it is useful information for future guests.
It is rare to find a team that combines professionalism with such a human touch. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

Our room was super clean and well equipped. We booked a studio room for 3 adults but found it a little on the small size for us, however we managed. What can i say about the staff...absolutely fabulous and just couldnt do enough to help. Made our trip so much easier

Quick and pleasant check in. We'd booked an apartment, very happy with it, again pleasant cleaning staff. As people have mentioned, noise seems to travel, as everywhere has tiled floors. I had a massage which was very enjoyable. We had a meal in Tosca on our last night, again enjoyable meal, nice staff.

Room smelled damp and was masked each day with some sort or air freshener, I did report it and it didn't improve - Room was also located next to the lift winding engine so had to sleep with earplugs. Breakfast was OK, but not exceptional

A hidden gem of hospitality. The staff is very friendly. On Mondays and Thursdays there was live music in the lobby: you can mingle and dance. The hotel is clean and the staff very responding to any issues. We found the indoor pool too busy, but the sauna was perfect. The spa is basic, but nice. I enjoyed a chocolate euphoria treatment. We spent 1 month at this hotel so we got to know not just the hotel staff but also the locals. We found a karaoke bar close by and enjoyed the locals' company every friday. After 4 weeks, we knew each other by name!! There are many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We loved the location as we were able to hike and take the bus to Valletta or any other city. Overall, a great location for us, good food, good people, clean facities and easy access to larger cities. Gladly recommend the place.

Positives: loved the outdoor heated pool. The breakfast has a good range. Staff very nice and friendly. Upgraded room nice and had what needed.
Negatives: Bad drain smell as enter room. Reported and maintenance tried to help.
View: Not great. Very close to opposite apartments/room which look directly into your room.
Breakfast: no one clearing plates etc - very slow. Was told that hotel very short staffed.
Indoor pool: this was so dirty and cloudy you could not even see the steps to go in so got straight out.
