Hotel location is excellent, shops around there. The room is clean and well decorated

I paid to Hotels.com in full when I booked this hotel. The credit card transaction went through and I received the receipt. I was told that my payment has been settled in full during check in and check out. However, after i returned home, I found that they charged the credit card I gave them to authorise incidental expenses the whole stay again. I emailed them. They don’t care to find out if it is their mistake and just tell me to ask Hotels.com. But it were your staffs that told me my stay had been paid in full during check in and check out. I did not authorise you to double charge me. The credit card authorisation was meant for additional expenses! Why won’t they charge Hotels.com instead? And Hotels.com has not replied to my enquiry either. The whole experience is very bad. I urge you to be careful and avoid having similar nightmares ever.

the rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. most of the staff were helpful. we did encounter one staff at the reception who seemed more cool and did not bother to smile. otherwise, the staff at the activities counter were all very helpful in booking various activities.

Very nice

I was surprised druing school holiday and after covid ,there are staff shortage everywhere, but their service was good and efficient ,especially thanks to the concierge, they helped a lot ,receptionist were quick to response to our quiery as well , hotel location is good , but the hotel is quite old , need to be renovated.

Stay was ok, Room was nice with a nice veiw of the lake. We had to wait over an hour to check in, our check in time was 2pm but the room wasn’t ready until after 3. This was frustrating as it was pouring with rain outside and we were waiting with kids. Probably wouldn’t stay here again because of that.

Great location

Very close to the lakeside, cafe & restaurants. However, dated hotel with bathroom facilities need upgrade. Poor front and housekeeping services. Excellent service from the porter ‘Agustin’. Hope they can improve as location is excellent!

Great place to stay with your family, laundry rooms (2-either side of building- inside) Great buffet breakfast, great bar area.

The location is great. But the property is crazy in need of a clean up and renovation. The paints peeling off the walls, towel rails broken, noisy and just not great. A curtain shower etc. all things that are first world but at a premium price you’re paying for location and not hotel. If this hotel was anywhere else it wouldn’t be able to charge these prices so they are riding it as long as they can. Novotel group really need to take a look at the brand reputation. But all in all a great location, fairly friendly staff but really bad rooms.

Great location, close to the lake and town.

立地は申し分ないです。 スタッフもフレンドリーです。 ただ子供がいるため 朝の朝食だけご飯系、白米だけでも あれば嬉しかったです。 海外旅行だから仕方ないかもしれませんが 冬ですが意外とダウン１枚あれば大丈夫かと 思います。

Lovely convenient location but the property is very dated and could do with a refresh and some additional sound proofing. The beds were really comfortable and great water pressure in the showers. However every day our key cards do our room stopped working, sometimes twice a day and we had to keep going back to reception to get new ones - this was so frustrating when we were tired, or carrying shopping or it was late at night. We were never offered any remedy or compensation for the repeated inconvenience either.

first tonight we couldn't sleep due to the room above our room keeping the stampingthier, 5am in the morning they started walking around stamping their feet on the floor so we couldn't sleep. after the complained they move us to different room

The property is in a great spot. Easy to walk to restaurants, cafes and shopping. Staff always accommodating if you needed anything.

Property is clean and well maintained, rooms are a bit tired and showing age. Especially bathrooms with shower over a bathtub and shower curtain bit outdated. There was only a twin room available and it was waste of space for only 2 of us. Weird no hotel info or menu left in room, had to read qr code for inroom dining and find out from asking where facilities were and timing. Location is excellent and has good access to main streets, no hills to navigage. Staff are nice and helpful pity guests couldnt be same with thise with infants allowing them to make a mess at breakfast, didnt realise parents dont care about kids and let them throw food everywhere. Poor staff cleaning floors but they done well. Id stay here again for the location.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay! This property was clean, the bed was comfy, and it is in such a great location - very walkable and close to all the main transportation. The only downside was that the heater in my room didn’t work - however, maintenance was very prompt in attempting to fix this! Whilst it was cold in the room, the sheets were very warm and perfect for the winter season. I’ll definitely want to stay with Novotel again!

Very old facilities, hardly no soundproof between rooms but charged at really high price, customer service not good, few staff is normal but most staff can be very curt and impatient. Can get much better customer service and newer hotel facilities elsewhere at cheaper price. Only benefit is it's convenient location near central.

Excellent location, easy short walk to everything Queenstown has to offer. Close to the bus for the slopes. Comfortable and large beds. Only negative was the daily cleaning was not up to standards, rubbish was not removed from the bins etc. The hotel should focus on this,
