OFFICIAL STATEMENT: BLUEWATER SUMILON ISLAND RESORT Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort would like to assure the public that the island remains safe from any threat despite the recent travel advisory issued by the US government to its citizens. At Bluewater Resorts, we take the safety of our guests very seriously. Our security personnel at Sumilon island is in a constant state of readiness to ensure that all our guests remain safe and secure. To help support our own security detail, the Philippine Coast guard has also maintained a detachment in the island. In connection with the advisory, the Philippine National Police has added personnel in areas frequented by foreigners to tighten security coverage. They are also working with their counterparts at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to intensify security measures implemented. The Philippine Navy and Airforce have deployed patrol boats and choppers in the area as extra precaution and to ensure public safety. Tourism activities in our immediate area remain normal. In fact, tourist traffic during the long holiday weekend was high and no booking cancellations (due to advisory) were received. Bluewater Sumilon remains vigilant and are taking all necessary steps to protect the resort. We ask the public to help monitor any suspicious activities in areas mentioned in the advisory.

An incidental Deposit of PHP 3,000 per room will be collected upon check-in. Deposit is refundable upon check-out should there be no charges incurred during your stay.

A maximum of 2 children (except for Glamping tent) ages 11 years old and below are free on room accommodation sharing bed with parents excluding meals. Children 6-11 years old will be charged 50% of the adult rate for buffet breakfast and buffet dinner.
