When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us that they were already fully booked and they want us to transfer to other hotel right away. They said that they booked us to a new hotel without even our consent. But we refused that setup since we have the booking, confirmed and fully paid for the 4 rooms at their hotel. We asked them how it was happened that we have a booking and then there are no rooms available. They just keep on telling us that booking site might not update the system and other sort of things which is not acceptable for us. We were really tired that day and wanted to have a good stay and rest, yet they still refuse us to stay on their hotel. Then, my sister asked is there any available even just 1 room for us to stay, all of us in even a single room since we really don't have the time to look for other hotels. Then, the receptionist told us that they were have 2 unoccupied rooms. 1 which is available and 1 with issue on aircon and under renovation. That time we do not have any choice thus, we stayed on the 2 rooms. Our booking is 4 rooms but they only delivered 2 rooms (1 okay and 1 with issues). We told them that if you are going to deliver the 2 rooms, we need to refund the other 2 undelivered rooms and they agreed that they need and have to do the refund. Upon our checkout Aug 5 in the morning, they only refunding amount less that the booking amount for 2 undelivered rooms. We had a hard time arguing with the hotel personnel and we have a flight back to Manila thus, we just received the amount with acknowledgment receipt and settle the issue through email and follow-ups. We also had bad experience with their in-house restaurant. The food were partially served after around one and half hours of waiting. We even cancelled other orders since we need to leave the hotel early for our flight. We ordered hotel food hoping that it would be faster than to look around other restaurants in the city, but what happened was in so disappointing. Even their van service ask for P350 fee for each stopover going to the airport. Yes we had 2 stopovers (Pasalubong center and Lechon Restaurant) which is along the way. Literally we just stop or passed by to buy some stuff and eat lunch, we don't even take turns or go around the city thus, I think the charge is still unreasonable. Again, we don't have time to argue and just gave the driver the additional charges. Been using app for some of my trips and hotel bookings, but only experienced this kind of issue with Padgett Place Prime Suite hotel.
