First issue was the address it doesn't list the exact location. Then when we arrived the cleaning women was still there but still issues with cleanliness. The one bedroom had a bunch of left condoms and lubricant on top of the cabinet inside the room and all the Air conditioners we're so dirty we had to clean all the filters because they were so full of dust the units could barely function. Then the batteries for the electronic door lock was saying low battery so I called the owner. He asked if I could buy new batteries and replace them and he would refund me later. So I walked to 7 eleven and bought new AA batteries for the lock but after replacing the lock still didn't work so I called again and the owner tried to blame me that I didn't install them correctly and that was the last of it. We ended up leaving after that because of all the issues and staying somewhere else. This is the first and hopefully the last nightmare of a trip I ever experienced with Hotels.com. We travel every week but luckily this is the first time I've had issues like this. This person should be allowed to rent their until anymore with their poor maintenance and cleanliness of the unit they are offering.

Our stay was a nightmare. The bathroom door was off its hinges and couldn't be closed, forcing us to use it without any privacy. The cooking vent was broken, filling the room with smoke and odors whenever we tried to cook. The place was infested with cockroaches and ants, even in the bed. There was no balcony, and the owner was extremely rude. When we informed the owner about these issues, he admitted that the pictures and description were outdated and did not reflect the current state of the room. Despite multiple conversations, Expedia has not resolved the issue or contacted us since November 19, when they stated that they would within 72 hour, we felt trapped because the owner refused to refund us, even though we wanted to leave immediately for a cleaner place. Expedia, where is your customer protection? We just want what we paid for. This is only a fraction of the problems we faced! We expect Expedia to correct this injustice and our nightmare!

I am very disappointed with Expedia for listing this place. The place is in disrepair, dirty, and the room smells horrible. I rented this place to provide accommodation for my two elderly sisters who are coming to Cebu from Masbate to attend our younger brother's funeral. There is no elevator and we were given a room on the fourth floor. I reserved the room for eight nights. Unfortunately, we cannot use the place. I asked for a refund because my sisters cannot climb the stairs. An Expedia staff did a great job in negotiating a refund. Despite all his efforts, we were only refunded two nights out of eight. I've been always satisfied with Expedia's services before. However, this time I am very disappointed and extremely dissatisfied for having this property listed as one of your lodging accommodations. Please, save your reputation, discontinue your relationship with "Your Holiday Homes."

Hotels.com verified review

Worst experience in my years of travel. The unit smells of mould and the kitchen is falling apart from water damage. In the morning i went to use the gym, but that had been destroyed in a typhoon months ago. It shouldn't even be listed as a feature. The owner said 'i would have to oay to use the gym' as if that was relevant. So i went to use the pool. The guard refused to let me swim as i needed a pass. Owner said it was sorted, but guard still refused. I was left standing in the sun for an hour waiting to swim. I missed a christening because of it all. I had booked 3 nights but left after 1 night. Owner refused a refund.
