Terrific location, difficult to locate as no hotel name posted. Had to go by street/house number. I6 step steep stair-way to entry. Self check-in, check-out with email code. Clean, large boutique style room and bathroom. Vehicles are not allowed on passageway/promenade so the taxi drop off is about 50 meters from hotel entrance.

Very clean hotel, conveniently located on a pedestrian street, in the heart of Coimbra. Communication was excellent -- we were sent room access codes, making check-in completely seamless.

Нам очень понравилось размещение в апартаментах. Владелец был очень мил и заменил апартаменты на лучшие! Бесплатно! Нам удалось посмотреть много квартир и все они были новыми и в замечательном состоянии.

We nicknamed this place "The Cave". It was clean and comfortable enough. We did sleep great here. It was quiet. Unfortunately, all windows look out to building walls, so it was a bit claustrophobic. They did a great job renovating this space but it still needs some color or pictures on the walls might help. I did like the way they kept some old stone and used the old fireplace as the closet. It just wasn't a space I wanted to spend much time in except to sleep. Check in was easy but we never spoke to anyone. When I asked questions on how to complete the online check in forms and to clarify the check in time, I never got a response. We ended up just trying the entry code and it let us in. The bathrooms were nice, and the showers were large. Good water pressure and hot water. AC worked great. The beds are basic no frills but comfortable. This is in a great location and very walkable. Lots of restaurants close by and easy to get the hop on hop off bus. We walked up the hill and found a small little place for Fado music one night. We did enjoy our stay in "The Cave".

Bien situé au centre ville de Coimbra, l’appartement a été rénové récemment mais le mur de la chambre comporte de nombreuses traces d’humidité qui ne donnent pas un aspect sain. Le logement dont nous avons bénéficié, bien que situé en retrait de la rue, sur l’arrière cours, est très bruyant et les fenêtres ne filtrent pas assez. Nous avons eu recours aux bouchons d’oreilles pour pouvoir dormir ( les étudiants de la cité sont très bruyants le soir et tard dans la nuit). Les fournitures de base sont rudimentaires : si vous disposez d’une kitchenette, la salle de bain n’offre qu’un savon polyvalent en flacon, mais ni shampooing ni sèche cheveux. La chambre n’est pas forcément faite tous les jours (1 fois sur 2 nuits dans notre cas). On nous avait promis un sèche cheveux qui n’est jamais arrivé. L’escalier à l’entrée de l’immeuble peut être difficile pour des personnes âgées ou à mobilité difficile.

- We didn't receive any check-in info prior to arriving. Check in code didn't work until we were given a new one. - Upon arrival, we were allotted a single room instead of two, and bed sizes were incorrect. - There were no toiletries. When I communicated to Ana, I was asked " why I didn't tell all these things to the cleaning person" when I had the chance. That is not my job nor theirs. The location is good but it is so hard to find because there is only a smal piece of paper stating it is Casa de Baixa.

Endroit élégant à la belle restauration. En outre très bien situé.

En fait mon commentaire concerne l'établissement CASA DE SAO BENTO. ou j'ai été dirigé ne pouvant pas rester à Downtown. A l'arrivée c'est magnifique, une maison superbe avec une décoration exceptionnelle. Mais dès que nous rentrons dans la chambre, le parquet grince terriblement fort. Dès que les voisins marches on a l'impression qu'ils sont dans notre chambre .Quand ils de douchent ou vont aux toilettes ,comme s'ils sont dans notre chambre. A droite comme à gauche. le ménage , à 18 h n'était tjs pas fait .Obligé de demander a chaque fois. chambres très mal nettoyées. manque de serviettes. Les parties communes , terrasses etc ..sales avec des mégots de cigarettes parre terre les cendriers pleins depuis plusieurs jours.Le personnel d'entretien nul.... Je ne recommande pas du tout.
