First time in GC and first time in a gay hotel and I think Axel was a great choice. Staff have been very friendly and helpful, good amount of amenities and clean areas. What was really impressive was how spacious the rooms are, you have a separate living room area and large bathrooms. I think the most important piece of advice I can give to someone is that the sun is facing the opposite way in late afternoon so you can’t sunbathe at the pool after a certain time. There are lounges in other areas but it’s not the same sadly.

The staff is amazing here !
Big shout out to the cleaning team - it was so nice. Everything was top dollar.
Late check out was 40 euros in cash only - that seemed a big too much but we were able to just stay buy the pool.

Läget bra. Skulle önska uppvärmd pool. De flesta gästerna badade inte i poolen, som annars hade bra storlek. Åt en pasta vid poolrestaurangen som inte smakade bra, så beställde efter det inte mat där.

Hotel is obsessed with charging for everything and in many cases things that ought to be complimentary. Dish washing liquid and cloth €4.5; one coffee pod €1.90; bottle of water €4, etc. The fridge was full of more drink than the usual mini fridge.

Meget venligt personale - men hotellet er slidt! Værelserne blev dagligt rengjort - eller dvs. det måske mest var en omgang duftspray der blev sprøjtet ud i værelset. Det var så intenst, at vinduerne skulle være åbne, for ikke at give hovedpine. Fandt døde kakerlakker på altanen - og levende ved opgangen.
Det var desværre ikke den hotel-oplevelse jeg havde håbet på.

No, the room was great and the maid staff was excellent.
I am mad because the 1 day I ate breakfast in the restaurant, I paid cash eur for my meal, they charged my room also. Additionally, they charged me for 2 bottled waters that I bought outside the room. I left the 2 empty bottles in the room.

The room was okay and cleaner than expected, though better on my previous visit. Alex was outstanding and deserves special mention. Breakfast was great. The sky bar party let the experience down — staff weren’t welcoming and made us feel like outsiders.
