I came to this hotel with high expectations and excitement as the Negresco Princess advertised itself well. The check in process was a bit confusing since the staff asked me to put in all of my information into their iPads, something that I didn’t feel necessary as I already put in my info while booking my stay. I communicated to the staff my first night about an issue I was experiencing with my accommodations, inviting the staff to help problem solve with me. Instead, I was received with what felt like a brick wall of insincerity and lack of willingness to help. I was told I’d need to spend another €1000 to solve my accommodation issue, and staff ignored their advertising for their rooms. I felt that the staff was rude and unwelcoming, which led me to feel very uncomfortable throughout the entirety of my stay. I’m very troubled about my experience because I dreaded returning to the hotel because that meant interacting with staff and walking past reminders of how I was treated. Additionally, my room was unclean. When I asked staff for help with a mess outside my door, the cleaning person didn’t clean thoroughly or disinfect causing the hallway to stink for the entirety of my stay. Additionally, their bathroom products were unsanitary and unhygienic…body wash should not smell rancid like sulfur. I am very disappointed with how my stay went, and regret staying in this hotel. I felt that my money was not well spent— I strongly encourage travelers to consider alternate lodging.

Nice hotel, centrally located but still quiet and in a not too crowded area. Rooms were clean and spacious, with a free mini fridge to help yourself. Shower was spacious as well, with enough pressure to calm yourself down after a tiring day. Breakfast is open from 06:30-10:00. I was not expecting it to be so well equipped to be honest. Very nice and would definitely recommend adding it in your booking. There is also a nice rooftop bar, with a small swimming pool that you can relax during a hot day. No gym but there is a sauna on the same floor. Overall, a very nice hotel, with cafe and restaurant options available (and a Revolut ATM across the street).

This hotel is stunning! I stayed here as a solo traveller and upon check in was greeted by some really lovely members of staff who were kind enough to check me in early. I was shown to my room and given a tour of the room including mentioning the free mini bar! I wish I had got the names of the members of staff for a special shoutout. My stay was great but some members of staff after that amazing initial experience weren’t as friendly which is why I only scored it 4 instead of 5 stars. The lifts were quite temperamental. The location is superb, only minutes from placa Catalunya and the roof terrace is beautiful on an evening. I felt safe as a solo traveller and would recommend others to stay.

Fint og centralt beliggende hotel med venligt og serviceminded personale. Værelserne var dog noget små. Alt i alt en meget positiv oplevelse og vi vil helt sikkert overnatte der igen.

Im Großen und Ganzen hat alles gepasst, einziger Wermutstropfen, Zumindest in den oberen Etagen geht ein dunkler Teppich zu den Sauna und in die Zimmern: dieser sieht niemals den Staubsauger… Verstehe nicht, wie die Putzfrau da einfach so drüber laufen kann. Ansonsten Zimmer immer sauber gehalten und bis auf letzte Nacht auch die Bar aufgefüllt. Warum gerade die letzte Nacht Wir vergessen wurden, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Lage ist toll, Rezeption Spanisch/Englisch…

placering rigtig fint, tæt på centrum og super nemt at komme til og fra med både taxi, cykel og på gåben. Receptionisterne var flinke og venlige. Desværre var rengøringen på hotellet ret skidt. dette gælder på både de offentlige områder såsom hotelgangene, og på værelset. Det ville nok gøre jeg ikke ville benytte dette hotel igen, desværre.

Personalen var ok! Fick uppgradera rummet för att vi hade fönstret mot en vägg. Frukosten var ok men totala känslan är att hotellet inte var n Som en fyrstjärnigt.
