We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and it was fantastic. For some reason they have modified it and not always for the best. The Aircon in the bedroom was controlled centrally and when I asked if they could lower it for our room, they said yes but it never happened. The breakfast is still very good but it is not as extensive as previous. Reception has been modified and it is functional but the previous reception was just as nice BUT it smelt better (strange I know). Biggest gripe was as part of my booking, I should get a free bottle of wine in the room and it took the best part of 2 days to get it no matter how many times I asked for it. All that said, would I stay here again, absolutely. It's location alone sells it and all the small gripes mentioned above, they are fairly petty gripes and personal to me. Not sure it is a 5 star though.

We loved, loved, loved this hotel. The checkin was efficient and the receptionist was so helpful with suggestions for our visit. We stayed for 5 days and were quite sad to leave. In a perfect location to explore the city it is a cool haven after a day sightseeing. Our room was lovely, and well maintained.There were some great touches. The only thing that let it down was the layout of the room - a little old fashioned in some details - such as the layout of the sockets (1 socket behind the bedside table), the position of the sofa compared to the TV (it was under the TV so you could not see it when sitting down), coffee machine tucked away in a cupboard and difficult to use, aswell as no usefully positioned socket for using the clothes steamer. And in a wonderful bathroom with a great shower the position of the hand soap is only useful when you are using one of the sinks. All of the amenities are there, and high quality ones as well, but it is just the layout which lets it down.
The breakfast was excellent, with wonderful staff looking after everything. We felt welcomed and looked after. We also ate at the hotel twice. The second time was because the other places we had tried in town were not as good and we preferred the experience at the hotel. The food was well presented and delicious,
The pool was great after a day out. A small area with a few beds. Some of the beds were damaged and needed replacing though. Again great staff looking after it,
We would stay again.

Instructions for parking are quite unclear when arriving with a car. We called the hotel twice to get instructions for arrival and checking in and were hung up on.
The bathroom is dated and not clean. Cordoba is beautiful and the historic location of this hotel is great but the staff communication was poor. The included breakfast was a typical European breakfast.

The place was great, location was great, staff, bedding, clean shower, etc, but we did have an issue with the extra bed with dirty sheet as well as sheets left behind from the previous guests in our room. We took pictures and the front staff promptly took action, but when we came back, they had not changed out the sheets for new ones. Besides this smallish incident, everything else including staff was great. The on-site parking would not fit our MB Vita, so we had to use an off-site parking garage.

Nice hotel and well located in the heart of the Jewish quarter, close to many good shops and restaurants. Two primary issues - room would not cool at night. When I texted hotel staff, they informed me it was a government regulation. I researched this regulation and explained to them it did not apply to individual room, only common areas. They would never admit their deceit and were merely trying to save money. Hotel gym totally inadequate. My next hotel in Spain had plenty of A/C
