The hotel was excellent - breakfast was fabulous both cooked and buffet available. Rooms were clean and spacious with fabulous view over the marina and up to the castle The one thing I would say the hotel is lacking is a roof top bar / drinks available at the pool even for a soft drink you have to go downstairs to the front bar . Also a snack bar would be very accommodating even just for fruit or a bowl of fries !! The views from the pool are stunning and definitely would recommend the hotel. The steep walk up and down to Malaga centre is not for the faint hearted or infirm a taxi / uber would be more acceptable!!!

Beautiful views, charming older hotel. Not central but a path is there to bring you down to the center.....albeit it's fairly steep. Only downside I would say is that there is no service at the pool. The restaurant is very good.

Excellence location in Malaga, can get the full landscape view and scenery of beautiful Malaga harbour view. Just walking distance to Gibralfaro tours spot. Even the hotel is on the hill top, but you may able to have short walk to city center in 10-15 mins only. You may also have public transportation before 19:00PM.

Beautiful location on the hill overlooking Malaga. Room clean and spacious with lovely view overlooking Malaga Town. Staff excellent, attentive to every need. Restaurant fabulous with excellent choice of food, staff cater for every need. Pool nice but could do with updating and decking very hot.

Lovely experience with friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms and public areas, great food and probably the best views in Malaga! Easy access by local bus (hourly during the day) if you don't fancy the walk. Need to book a table in advance if you want to enjoy your meal on the restaurant balcony. A top class Parador!

I was charmed by this Parador. So beautiful. Loved breakfast on the terrace with amazing views over Malaga and the Med. Great little pool with sun-beds on the rooftop. Also a very handy bus stop close to the Parador. So easy to go into busy Malaga centre then back to the peace of the Parador.

Best views you can get in Malaga. The pool was a tad run down and wish it had access to drinks, even water would be nice. Sunsets were incredible. Walking down into town is doable but not ideal with slope and stairs. Uber on the way up from town is a must. I would have loved the hotel to have a market to purchase simple items like sunscreen or chips, since nothing is nearby. A bit touristy people hanging out front with the castle and all… But a lovely stay, really pretty exterior, full-length mirrors in the room and helpful staff.

Sehr schöne Lage mit grandioser Aussicht auf Málaga und Meer. Leider hatten wir nur die Wahl zwischen einem vergitterten Zimmer im untersten Stock und begrenzter Aussicht und einem Mini-Zimmer mit sehr schmalem Doppelbett. Dies war der Zimmerpreis definitiv nicht Wert und war ziemlich enttäuschend!

Die Aussicht auf Malaga ist überragend. Allerdings ist die Lage für Unternehmungen nicht optimal. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, am Hotel hat es genug Parkplätze. Am Strand und unterwegs ist es natürlich immer etwas problematisch. Zu Fuß zur Stadt erfordert einige gewisse Sportlichkeit. Es fährt aber auch alle 30 Minuten ein Bus. Wir hatten entschieden, Halbpension zu buchen. Das Essen ist à la carte. Das Angebot ist sehr fischlastig. Die Karte ist nicht groß und wurde auch innerhalb einer Woche nicht geändert. Am Schluss wussten wir nicht mehr, was wir essen sollen. Das Frühstücksangebot ist reichhaltig aber immer das Gleiche. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön.

Die Damen der Reception am ersten Tag waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Servicepersonal an der Bar und dem Frühstückssaal (ausgenommen eine der Damen) war unaufmerksam, unfreundlich, und harsch im Ton. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel sehr unerfreulich. Der Wasserhahn im Bad des Zimmers eine Zumutung. Man konnte sich kaum die Hände Waschen….Die Frage, ob uns der Aufenthalt gefallen hat, wurde am Ende nicht gestellt. Wohlweislich. Ein leider enttäuschender Aufenthalt, welcher auch durch die wunderbare Lage des Hotels nicht zu optimieren war. Schade.

Las habitaciones tienen un balcón con una vista espectacular hacia Malaga, muy recomendable. El restaurante muy bueno, vale la pena reservar y cenar ahí, un hotel para 1 noche y disfrutar de las vistas.
