SH 瓦倫西亞宮飯店

The good: nice rooftop bar, huge car park, good breakfast, close to arts and sciences area, close to nice walks in the Turin It’s a good four star place, not as luxe as some of the other 5* places in Valencia. It is away from the old town, which you may see as an advantage, but it means nice restaurants will be a little distance away and you might not like the workaday modern vibe around the hotel.

Loved the staff, always helpful. Desk staff great to get me taxi. Great breakfast buffet with good selections and helpful staff. Room always cleaned when wanted. Not fond of roof restaurant but bar service for late evening cocktail was great.

Very comfortable room, was here for a week. Nice pool facilities, good breakfast, overall nice hotel and would recommend. There was an A/C issue one night during our stay but was resolved relatively quickly.

Buona posizione

We arrived at the hotel from Valencia airport which was 40 euros via taxi. The check-in was quick and easy as we'd already checked in online, the staff will very helpful and accommodating. The room was on the seventh floor which overlooked the river bed and the city. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was double sinks and a lovely shower. Breakfast was varied and and filling with lots to offer for all. We dined on the terrace and this was very relaxing, the menu was mainly fish orientated with a few options if you don't like fish, that would be my only critique, a larger variation not fish orientated. The hotel position is opposite la Musica and access to the river bed. The walk to the old city takes about 30 minutes, the walk to the science centre and oceanographic centre about 20 minutes. All incredible. There are lot's of restaurants around the hotel which offer a variation of cultural foods. I will be back!

Great location, excellent breakfast. Pool was lovely, very clean, and towels were always provided. Retractable roof was useful when it started to rain, so we didn't have to leave! Some maintenance is ongoing, refreshing rooms.. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Good facilities. For city location, pool is unusual but not big enough area for sufficient number of sun beds for size of hotel. Gym also could be bigger. Breakfast good selection but not everything replenished during each sitting. Late check out offered but for a fee. Overall lovely hotel in good location overlooking Turia Park.

Very nice hotel, located near main attractions in Valencia. Staff was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. For sure I would return to this hotel.

Good central location for exploring Valencia. The hotel is fairly modern and rooms are more functional than comfortable. We had a problem with our TV on arrival and it took a phone call followed up by having to go to reception to get the problem resolved. The pool is nice and the terrace bar was a pleasant and relaxing experience after a day of walking. The staff are mostly helpful and pleasant. If I were to grumble, the rooms are smaller than depicted on their website, the bed was hard and uncomfortable (but I guess that’s about preference) the desk chair was rickety and stained badly. TV options are minimal for an international hotel. There are some nice touches, bath robes and slippers along with bathroom amenities, the shower gel and hand soap smell lovely and a decent shower. Overall, if I was going for business for a night or two, perfect. After a long hot days of exploring, I’d prefer something a little more comfortable, but again it’s all about personal preference.

Das Hotel liegt an einer belebten Einfahrtsstraße, d.h. man sollte das Fenster im Zimmer möglichst geschlossen halten. Gleich daneben befindet sich der Grünstreifen/Park, der sich um die gesamte Innenstadt zieht, die per Fahrrad oder Bus vom Hotel aus gut erreichbar ist. Es handelt sich um ein typisches Stadthotel mit vielen ankommenden und abreisenden Gästen, was sich auch im Engagement des Rezeptionspersonals äußert. Hier wird auf den einzelnen Gast nicht groß eingegangen, man muss sehen, wie man sich zurechtfindet. Das Frühstück wird in einem großen Raum im Untergeschoss angeboten, der Ikea-Charm hat und einen erheblichen Geräuschpegel aufweist. Der Außenpool im sechsten Stock ist nüchtern gestaltet, es sind nicht genug Liegen vorhanden. Der Fitnessraum ist mit vielen Geräten bestückt und dadurch eher eng, aber dennoch gut benutzbar. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit guten Betten, auch das Badezimmer ist groß und mit zwei Waschbecken und großen Spiegeln gut ausgestattet. Es ist alles sauber.
