Great hotel, good facilities, very clean, with extremely friendly, helpful and polite staff. The pools looked very inviting but I didn't use them due to a storm at the time of the visit. Excellent breakfast buffet, although evening buffet sometimes had fairly unexciting and limited vegetarian/ vegan options, but still ok. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

On arrival at 9pm , check in was smooth, we were informed we were being upgraded to an UP room, which was nice. However we were given room 642 which is in the corner of the hotel, room itself was nice , great shower in room but balcony had pigeon droppings on balcony rail and floor, I noticed other balconies in this area had same problem. On complaining the following morning we were at first offered a room on 3rd floor which was not as good and was in floor of hotel being renovated. We informed staff we would stay in room if they would clean the balcony, they informed us this would be done and that this area of hotel is problematic with this issue. The balcony was not cleaned once in our 4 night stay, had feeling reception staff didn’t really care or deal with the issue. These rooms at corner are also very noisy with the lift being next to them. Staff in restaurant and pool bar very nice. Pool images is very chilled out with best heated pool I have been in. Location is also very good for bars and restaurants. Overall a nice stay but disappointed in room situation and reception staff.

I recently stayed at Hotel Vulcano, and unfortunately my experience did not meet the standards I expect from a four-star hotel. During my stay, I encountered several cockroaches in my room. When I informed reception, the initial solution offered was simply to provide spray. I had to insist on changing rooms myself, and this happened late in the evening without any clear apology or reassurance. This handling of the situation was disappointing. I also sent an email afterwards explaining my concerns, but I have not received any response. The lack of follow-up and communication is concerning. There was noticeable noise in the room that affected my comfort. In addition, I asked at reception if a bathrobe was available, but was told it was not — something I would normally expect in a hotel of this category. The hotel advertises yoga and Pilates as part of its wellness offering, yet these classes are only held twice per week in a small indoor room. Given the climate and setting, I would have expected a more suitable or outdoor space. This does not reflect the image presented in the marketing. Furthermore, the rooftop terrace is shown on Hotels.com as a facility, but access is not included in the standard room price, which feels misleading. One positive aspect was that I was allowed early check-in at around 11:30 am, which I appreciated. Overall, the guest handling and the gap between marketing and reality were disappointing.

Beautiful hotel and a great location. The staff were exceptional.Especially Nightshift reception staff when I had an issue. Plenty of beds buy the pool. No need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve with a towel. Will definitely be returning.

De gemeenschappelijke toiletten hadden geen formulier waarop stond hoe vaak schoonmaak plaatsvindt. Rondom buffet was het altijd smerig van eten dat langs schotels lag. Ook op de vloer bij o.a. het koffieapparaat veel vlekken. Heel veel eten was steenhard en uitgedroogd en lauw tot koud. Veel van het buffet van de ochtend werd eveneens in de avond geserveerd. O.a. Dessert, koude groenten, fruit.

Ikke dra hit dersom du ikke ønsker kakerlakker og små dyr på rommet ditt, frokost som ser ut som det har ligget der noen dager, dårlig renhold på rommet og dårlig service. Vi opplevde små dyr som likner på maur inne på rommet,(mage av de) og store kakerlakker. Vi ringte til respepsjonen og det eneste de gjorde var å sende opp en vakse dame så sprayet ned rommet våres med en ekkel spray som ikke var bra å puste inn. Senere på dagen opplevde vi at det kom flere dyr, vi ringte ned igjen og fikk beskjed om å komme ned i resepsjonen. Vi pakket alle tingene og endte opp med å få et nytt rom, enda et rom med masse dyr. Vi gikk ned igjen og skulle få enda et nytt rom, da vakten skulle ned å sjekke at alt var bra med det nye rommet himlet han med øynene og virket irritert på oss. Vi takket nei til det nye rommet og valgte heller å legge oss på det første rommet da de ikke virket villige til å hjelpe oss, det ble lite søvn og ubehagelig da vi var redde for flere dyr… De siste dagene av oppholdet ble brukt til å sjekke koffert og rom for dyr konstant, vi turte ikke lukke opp verandaen og det ble lite søvn… Rett og slett en forferdelig opplevelse på en tur. I resepsjonen mente de at dette var helt vanlig og at de ikke kunne gjøre noe…

Terrible service from the staff during and after stay (except for the odd few like the cleaners and Miguel the bar man on the up level) and dinner was limited, terrible and far from what they advertise. Would avoid staying here but if you do, do not go half board. Pools okay, UP level is really good but fairly expensive. Rooms nice and modern.
